“Our class recently completed the SchoolKit Self-Esteem Kit, and it was a fantastic experience. The lessons were hands-on, creative, and really got everyone thinking about what makes us unique and how we can build each other up. The activities helped students explore ideas around confidence, kindness, and the influence of media, all in a fun and age-appropriate way. The materials were beautifully designed and easy to use, and the teacher support made it simple to follow. It was wonderful to see how much the students opened up and supported one another — by the end, our classroom felt more positive and connected than ever.”

How has this the kit influenced the way in which students speak to each other? I have noticed that the children have a little more empathy for each other and will support rather than attack.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? That we all feel emotions and judge ourselves harshly. That if we see ourselves from a family members perspective we would be more kind to ourselves. That we don't have to listen to negative comments and have to take them on. We can support our families struggling with self esteem issues.

“The children loved the content of the lessons. They were able to express some emotions and situations they would not usually be able to in a class setting. It started some conversations about the sadness we see in some of our family members. I felt this was a good outlet for some students to get some heavy emotions off their chest.”

“The Daily Check In was the biggest success in class. Students were able to learn to identify how they were feeling, enjoyed the follow up cards, and use this to engage with themselves and others more effectively. The strongest learning was knowing that feelings and emotions eff and flow over the day and this had many class members recognising that how they engage with their peers can change over the day.”
