Was there a particular component that struck a chord with your class? The letters from a special person were particularly powerful as it gave whanāu the chance to sit and write something meaningful which is something people don't often do. The students' faces lit up as they read them and I know they instantly became cherished taonga.

Which response stood out most? We did not complete every activity due to the overloaded curriculum. We did not manage the statistical inquiry. The aspects we managed were well received and I wsh I could have spent more time on it.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? That there is someone who loves everything about them. Words are powerful and those letters really had an impact.

“I thoroughly enjoyed working through these activiites with my class. When I ordered the kit I didn't think through the impact of being in a modern learning environment as the kit is essentially set up for a single cell clas so there were many small adjustments to be made and activities to copy. That was on me.”

“This toolkit worked really well alongside our learning about the Zones of Regulation. I found that a lot of the resources tied in nicely and the students were very engaged.”

How has this the kit influenced the way in which students speak to each other? The circle of influence task made some of them realsie the influence they have over others and I have seen some conscious decisions to think before they say things.
