“This kit has been great for my class. I teach at an all boys school and I have seen enormous personal grwoth in the boys. I have learnt things about them that I never would have if I wasn't using this kit. The check ins are awesome and help me get a a gauge on where the boys are at and where I need to check in. A must have for the classroom!”

How has this the kit influenced the way in which students speak to each other? Feeling more confident when letting students know how they feel. Also feeling confident enough to use their voice to let others know about unwanted behaviours or acts in the class.

Which response stood out most? Due to the vast ages difference in the class the younger students found some information very new and this helped conversations about learning at home.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Knowledge that they are safe to say how they feel and when things are going wrong. That not all days have to be great ones and that they can feel supported by the teacher or other students when they feel low or worried.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Everyone has different issues that effect their mood in the morning, so be kind.

“In our Y6 double class, we loved the Rise and Shine station and found our children got a lot of it. The trusted adult aspect of it was a good reminder for the children to go to if they needed help. We felt a few other bits were aimed at more Y7/8 students regarding self-esteem and body image.”
