“I love the mission and love the shoe. My only issues is the sole has started to come away from the shoe after one 5k hike which is disappointing as everything else has been great. Without the quality issue it would have been an easy 5* review and I expect I would have been buying from Tropicfeel for years.”

“I really, really wanted to love this shoe. I will say that aesthetic is really nice - I do like how they look. But they’re unbearable to wear - the part of the shoe that goes around the ankle bone is super rigid (I’m assuming so the back of the shoe can fold down) and it rubs against my ankle so painfully, to the point that it gave me blisters that started bleeding. I tried to keep wearing them thinking that it would just take some breaking in, but I don’t see this getting better. And I’m hobbling when I do try to wear them because it’s so painful. I don’t know if I have odd ankle placement (is that possible?) but these just weren’t for me.”

“Delivery was fast, but the product did not meet my expectations, since the material felt rather cheap and dull. On top of that, there were some stand-out threads and small stones in the shoe profile. It appeared to me, that somebody wore the shoes and refunded them afterwards. Otherwise, I cannot explain the small stones in the shore profile. But the worst aspect about these shoes was the refund! The refunding process was fast on the one hand, but on the other hand, I had to pay around 7 € to get my money back. Paying for return shipping is just fine, although I grew suspicious and that is why: the product looked great on the website and was a huge disappointment in reality; my guts tell me, this company makes good money off selling bad quality, then charging for a refund and sell the same bad quality product to another customer all over again. In other words: I felt scammed! I will never buy anything from this company again.”
