“I guess I should’ve done more research because this shoe is made in China. The quality is hand down horrible. Manufacturing weaknesses (undone stitches, glue visible). It is starting to tear after using it 8 times !!! The glue is coming off and I haven’t even done anything other that walking. You can get a better product elsewhere. Sizing is good though”

“The shoe broke on the first time when trying to put it on. Got a second one and the same thing happened. Thank god it was on opposite shoes, like that we were able to mix and match to get one good pair. Plus the shoe shows signs of poor manufacturing, undone stitches, apparent glue… What more can you really expect for made in China ? Too expensive for what it is. Sizing is good.”

“Ordered a pair of Lava Orion shoes due to the marketing hype, before going to Latin America for 7 months. I liked the fact you could use these for urban and offroad terrain, especially in warm climates. It's been 1.5 months now, I'm in Mexico, and the shoes started tearing apart. The mesh on the top left shoe is disintegrating, the textile rim is also disintegrating, and the plastic cap on a string end has long gone. And I've only used them for like 20 days maximum, nothing intense. Super disappointed. For GBP 100, how is it sustainable to get maybe 3 months out of these (assuming they last)? I was debating between these and some Decathlon brand ones (just without the water draining feature, but 3x cheaper). I'm gutted now because I can't return them from here, and I can't find suitable alternatives in shops here. BEWARE! TRY THEM FOR AT LEAST 2 MONTHS BEFORE TRUSTING THEM FOR A LONG TRIP!”
