“For all other tropic feel shoes I went for size 40 which was always a little bit tight so this time I made a decision to go for size 41 and they are way too big! (More like size 42...) rather disappointed with the sizing inconsistencies. Also the bottom/base of the shoe is very stiff and not very flexible which makes my feet go tired rather quick into the walk. Definitely not ideal and I am rather disappointed by this pair unfortunately”

“Not suitable to use, or fit for purpose. I was really excited to get these, but I’m really disappointed with the quality. I haven’t been able to try them in water or other terrains yet, because they arrived late, after my holiday. I did wear them for about 3 days after I got them, and then put them away until trying them again. They look good, but the ankle support is non existent, there are already parts where glue is drying off, and the worst is that the insole slides up the back of the shoe whenever I take them for a walk longer than 4 minutes. Really this renders the shoe unusable to wear as I have to stop every couple of paces to fix the insole riding up my ankle. If I could get my money back I would”

“Looks great but very uncomfortable to wear even after nearly a week of trying to break into it. Probably just doesn't suit my foot shape at all. The instep was too tight, so had to move the laces one hole down. The crease at the front created when stepping off really digs into my little toe. I can just see it potentially creating painful blisters if worn without socks. Sizing wasn't an issue as there's still a good 1.5cm of room in front of my large toe. Overall, really disappointed with the fit of the shoe. Your milage may differ as everyone's foot shape will be different. Just one of the risks of buying shoes online. In this case, didn't work out for me at all. :-(”

“The shoes are very confortable, but I have to admit I'm quite disappointed by the quality. I used the shoes during my two weeks vacation in Greece. Mainly for street walking and a little bit of hiking. After only two weeks wearing them on and off (approximatively 10 full days withe the shoes): The soft part inside the heel is starting to take off (almost gone on one shoes). One of the lace knot stoppers is already gone (I got extra an one, but in grey not in black...) The shoe sole is already a little crumple on the side.”

“The water resistant technology on this show is great and I love the look and feel. However, after only two wears I’ve already noticed the sewing is coming undone and the tag on the heel has frayed. Also there are water mark stains which is annoying considering these are specifically for water activities. They get the job done, but I’m worried they won’t last another wear. I would t purchase again.”

“Reklamationen sind unmöglich. Zuerst hat leider die Größe nicht gepasst (waren zu groß), wurde retour gesendet, habe auch sofort die neue Größe erhalten. Leider sind bei diesem paar die schnürsenkel beim anziehen gerissen. Ich wollte dies nochmals reklamieren und bitten mir ein neues paar zu schicken jedoch ist das nicht möglich. Im gegensatz dazu wurden mir neue Schnürsenkel versprochen. Womit ich eigentlich zufrieden war. Nach erkunden des Versands, da ich keine Bestätigung erhalten habe, wurde mir gesagt das überhaupt keine versendet wurden. Danach habe ich mich ans preisgekrönte Kundenservice gewand. Diese haben mich 30min warten lassen um zu erfahren das mir weder schnürsenkel noch die möglichkeit gegebn wird die schuhe zu retournieren. Bei jeglicher Kontaktaufnahme wird immer nur eine automatisierte “oh tut uns leid” Email mit einem Link versendet der entweder nicht funktioniert oder mich auf eine Seite leitet wo ich keine Reklamation durchführen kann da ich ja schon hatte. Leider ist es anscheinend dem Anbieter egal. Somit werde ich es an den Konsumentenschutz weitergeben.”
