I was very surprised when receiving the new Canyon shoes. I have had them for a couple of years and now I wanted to buy another new pair. To my surprise the design has changed and the comfortable back heel which can be folded and put down so the shoe can also be a slip-in is very nice and practical. Now the new design is a hard heel and when wearing with no socks my heels are bleeding after just a short walk. Very disappointing and painful!

I’m not able to review the shoes as I’m having difficulty with the exchange process. I initially ordered a 44 but found them to be a little too large. I sent them back requesting a 43. The exchange took many weeks without any contact from Tropicfeel. After a fair amount of time had passed I emailed asking the status of the return. The return took another 10 days and when I received the new pair the sent a 41 instead of the 43 I requested. Now I have to go through the same process again to attempt to get the right size sent to me. So, I can’t review the shoes yet.

I ordered my shoes, size 6, on September 9, 2023. When they arrived I realized that they were way too small even though I ordered my usual size and the sizing chart implied that my normal shoe size should work. There was not much give to them, so I decided to request an exchange. Tropicfeel's website stated that they do free exchanges. I attempted to begin the exchange but the webpage kept crashing on me and did not accept the exchange. Naturally, I reached out to customer service. They have not been helpful at all. It took nearly two weeks to convince them that their exchange interface was not working and they did not believe me. Finally, on September 21, they provided an alternate exchange process. I had to pay $20 to ship the shoes back with the promise of a reimbursement. It is now October 4 and I have not received a confirmation that my new shoes have been sent to me, I have not been reimbursed, and I already paid them $120 + $20. I am unbelievably regretful that I purchased these shoes as this entire process has been very frustrating. I'm concerned that trying to just get a refund and canceling my order will just lead me to have wasted money as they will probably refuse to reimburse me completely.

Was excited by the prospect of a roller bag that converts to a backpack but sadly this didn’t make the grade. For the price the quality is very low, the main concern being functionality with the questionable quality of particularly the wheels and handle. I can’t see how this would hold up over even just a few uses. I was so surprised by the bad quality of the handle in particular (would not raise or lower without great effort, very wobbly and unsteady as if it had been heavily used) that I inquired if perhaps this was a defect, to which the company replied yes. They had me submit for an exchange and when the new bag arrived not only was the same issue present with the handle, but the bag was very noticeably used, with scuffs and scratches all over the exterior and crumbs/hair/lint inside. When I inquired about this the company told me that their policy (which is not clearly stated on the website and was not communicated to me) is to replace defective items with refurbished items. When I explained the bag had never been used by me and had been diagnosed by them as defective, they told me it didn’t matter and that since I had already exchanged I would not be eligible for a return. After months of back and forth, and with nearly daily follow up from me, I was finally able to convince them to allow me to return the bag (at my own expense, $50). My recommendation is to stay far away!

Bought these to travel Central America. First of all, they barely lasted the flight over. The rubbers on the laces came off. They definitely aren’t waterproof. Just seem to be cheap quality. They are ok for walking through town and things but not great for outdoor activity. If you’re going to a city and want some cute looking trainers then they’re alright but I think it’s a bit of a push to advertise them as good shoes for outdoor travel. They do dry quickly though. Safe to say I’m glad I bought a proper pair of hiking shoes with me. Definitely worth about £30 maximum. £90 is insane for the quality.

I ordered the shoes because they are supposed to be great for going on a hike in wet terrain. After a short test run, one thing is clear: the shoes are very heavy and bulky. I also quickly developed painful pressure points on my feet. So unfortunately they are going back!
