Rarely do I leave negative reviews, but I feel extremely let down by this product. The Instagram ads delivered on one promise here- the shoes are very waterproof. The design looks slick... for about a week. The issue is, the material is pretty thin and has no substance. It doesn't hold shape and gets creases. For a shoe you have to slip on, this is a pretty bad flaw. The shoe is all cut from one or maybe two pieces of material, which is why they are waterproof with no openings around the tongue or laces. Because of this, to get them on, you slip on which bends the material and over time, permanently creases them. The creases get worse and worse and cannot be steamed or ironed out like a leather shoe. This thinness definitely makes the shoes lightweight and comfortable, and the fit and arch support are on point, but it also means they lack structure on the sides, toes, ankle. The tabs on the back that you must use every time you slide the shoe on are super fragile. Literally ripped with a gentle pull on my FIRST use straight out of the box. You'll get better performance out of any Adidas, Nike, Dr Scholls, Vans, etc at about $75-$90 price point, which I think would be more suitable retail range for this shoe. They look really beat up as if I've worn them daily for a year, and I've only worn them twice a week for 4 months just walking on sidewalks. It's not just the creasing, but this material gets SO dirty, so fast. I thought the waterproof feature would make them easy to clean, but I literally have to use a magic eraser every time I wear them because dish soap and scrub brush won't suffice. Thr soles get dark scuffs on basic ashphalt. I was hoping for a clean white sneaker slick enough to wear with suit pants, jeans and blazers etc. Even having bought them on sale for about $120, I would expect them to last at least a year like any other sneaker. It's a hard pass for me. I think if I had gotten these in black, for ballpark $80, specifically as just a gym shoe... I might have been happy with them.

Worst ever. Ordered 3 times and received wrong size, customer service didn’t help at all. I still want the shoes and they advised to not order it due to internal issues which they didn’t fix. Vey disappointed

Had to return (at great cost) as far too uncomfortable to wear for a few minutes, let alone a full day. Hard edge around the ankle digs in. The quality was a huge let down too. They look and feel like something from a pound shop.

Very small/thin - does not hold much. Also it is very easy for anyone to yank it from the backpack, as others have reported

I really dont like them. They feel too plasticky and they hurt my feet when worn without socks, the insole is suuuper thin and slips out of place a lot. I have a blister from them. I will return the unworn pair

I loved the design and look of this daypack so bought one for an upcoming trip to Vietnam. I did know that the bag was 14 litres when I purchased it but was expecting a little more space than this bag allows for (it's simply too small to be useful!). By the time you have rolled it down for waterproofing you literally can't fit anything in it. Straps also sit weirdly on me since the bag is so small (the padded part of the strap literally comes down to my collar bone). I love the tropic feel products and the ideas are innovative as well as aesthetically pleasing but I often feel that the functionality isn't there. This would be a great product if it was in the 20-25 litre range which is standard for a daypack (and what you would expect for the price point). Oh and I know its tricky on a waterproof bag due to the materials but some waterproof bags also have a bottle holder mesh on the outside which is important as I would be using a daypack for exploring so want to be able to access your water bottle immediately.
