I booked a delivery for a fragile item weighing over 100kg. It was well packaged and I paid insurance to cover my delivery against any damage in transit. When it was delivered, my customer witnessed my item (in excess of 100kg) being manhandled off the vehicle by one person, the tail lift wasn't used on the van and the crate was jolted to the floor. When my customer opened the crate, part of the contents were damaged. I reported it immediately but Parcel Monkey refused my claim and suggested I had sent it 'damaged' even though I had an email by my customer describing what they had seen and also I had various photos of the items being packed before dispatch. Really awful customer service, there was no telephone number for me to be able to speak with anyone about it and paying extra for insurance was a total waste of money. I will never use them again.
