I hate that you cannot find the website to sign into your account it’s a joke in my opinion avoid and why pay for a website when most are free!

I purchased a domain for security research as a bug bounty hunter. I was following a blog from someone presumably from the UK. This website was recommended to use. I had used the website once then they changed my account settings and deleted my account. They informed me if I wished to keep the domain I had to send in photo ID and other requirements. To contact them they require an account which was preemptively deleted. Not professional nor courteous giving me false directions in respect to how to go about retrieving the domain again.

Like the last complaint - I agree they are totally USELESS at technical resolution and considering a CLASS ACTION AGAINST 123REG now. About 3 weeks ago 123reg they migrated my Microsoft 365 emails and when this locked me out I was told I could access them online which worked for 2days and now totally locked out with no recourse to my data or any new business info online at all, with significant losses to us. I have raised several tickets, phone calls and formal complaint and all I get is that they working with Microsoft to try and resolve with no time limit on when this will happen. It's shocking that a company can operate like this with total disregard to Users and their livelihood. We should all get together and sue them !!!

About 3 weeks ago 123reg migrated my Microsoft 365 (whatever migration is). This immediately locked me out of all Desktop applications including email and I also could not access my online applications either. I raised a support ticket but I then had to call every day just to get them to understand that I had a problem. After about 5 days they finally got me access to my online apps only - fairly useless when you are working in a shipping container with no internet access. This worked ok ish for about a week then my email account just randomly disappeared with the statement that my domain didn't exist - luckily this came back a couple of hours later. My account has now disappeared entirely again since yesterday. I have added info and requested info on my support ticket but quite a few days have gone by with no attempt to answer them. I have now called 123reg and I have been politely told that they are working on it, it isn't their fault, they don't know when it will be resolved and they are sorry for the inconvenience. This after a continuous problem for nearly 3 weeks. Their service status page was first updated on 26 March and then again on 10 April, just over 2 weeks between updates. They take your money, they cause a problem, they don't resolve it and they don't answer your support tickets. I am working overseas and this is a business account. I have had to pay for additional internet access just to use an excel spreadsheet and to make calls to 123reg. Are there enough people out there with similar issues to club together in a class action suit - it might make them take the issue seriously. If not I'm going to move my account anyway. Don't even consider usig these clowns if you rely on MS office apps and email.

Email forwarding nightmare! Switched to them from godaddy for email forwarding from my personal doman, and I wish I had gone somewhere else as they're now just as bad. They changed their systems, told me that I needed to delete and recreate the account, and gave conflicting information about how to do it. Wasted several hours while different support people gave different instructions, all of which turned out to be wrong. It's now working, at least until they tell me I have to change the settings again.

Don't use 123-REG! They delete websites and email accounts unnecessary. We as a small business since the 31 December have been crippled by 123-Reg. Our case is sitting with CEO Office and even they cant resolve the problem. Absolute dire company to deal with.

Am I forced to even give one star! We are a business, and without notification they changed their login procedures. Due to business requirements all the 19 domains we have with them had email assignments for seperate departments. (like couk.dnsadmin or orguk.dnsadmin). They changed their process and required login based on email addresses... But only one of the 8 addresses became valid, with no recourse back to the others, and all other domains being un-accessible. 3 support calls and 12 emails and no resolution after 15 years of business. Stay away, no matter how cheap they might offer, they are just as bad as a bitcoin scam company under their new management. They then refused to provide a new email address for correspondence... They have become a complete con-artist business. DO NOT USE OR TRUST THEM! Every reply is BS, and their staff will hang up on you if you question them. The response was always untraceable telephonic with no traceable evidence, damn clever bunch. Was with them for nearly 20 years, so this is not the norm. Since they got taken over by a Global all the wheels have fallen off... DO NOT USE, they are no longer the 123 that we trusted before.

After 10+ years I’m OFF!!! Shocking Well what can I say (maybe I’m not surprised in reading all these negative reviews) after 10+ years I’m now moving, what the actually is their GEN 2 mailbox system like - it’s in no way fit for purpose. GEN 1 absolutely fine, but when they auto shifted my 3 email addresses to GEN 2 which has the most ridiculous SPAM filter than I cannot as an individual user control….it’s just randomly SPAM important work, plus personal emails that I want to get to my phone plus download to outlook on my laptop. There really is no sense that an individual user CANNOT mark a email sender as SAFE!!! Mental, Just like the responses you get from technical services!! Now nearly reached my email quota & there is literally no way to bulk delete all emails….apart from highlighting blocks at a time - their system, server & ultimately 123 reg is beyond acceptable on any level!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Avoid at all cost! I have been a loyal customer for 7 years and over the past few months words can simply not describe how awful this company have been and the non existent customer service. The most recent of issues is having over £700 taken out of my account illegally at the beginning of the month and now my website builder being cancelled and website permanently deleted as of today. Supposedly due to a request that I have made. My website is my retail company, a company that I have been building for the past 8 years, a company they have now deleted and I have lost my immediate livelihood. I have also lost access to all my customers order details, which I need to process their orders. I am absolutely devastated this has happened and as always there is no one that can help. I will be taking this further and I will be seeking legal action. *Edited to say that you have also charged me double for today's renewal of my website builder, even though you have cancelled it and deleted it (without my consent). Absolutely appalling company!!! I am loosing sales due to having no website and now you have the audacity to charge me for a service you have deleted!!!!

I have been with 123-reg for years, at least 15, when suddenly I stopped to receiving emails to my domain I was mainly using a catch all but have been informed that they know longer doing these unless you pay for email hosting package, this is fine it's all I really needed was for within for certain email addresses for my family. Today I tried to go into my control panel and am unable to find any email forwarding controls. On calling them I was informed the no longer do this without buying additional services and the domain no longer does forwarding. On looking up their sales site I'm interested to see under domain names "everything you need" and "setup multiple email forwarders". I have set up a complaint with the ASA and will be contacting trading standards for the Hays area as I believe they are not doing as advertised and have changed my contract mid-contract with no warning.

Poor customer service with outsourced? Indian speaking telephone personal who need further training on how to deal with inquiries and not be curt and cut you off. Will not recommend this service to anyone anymore.

Really poor service total rip off! new email platform, forcing you to move across so as to charge when it was part of a hosting package!

Completely hopeless company. Like others, my email has been down again for two days with no solution. Endless waits on the phone to speak to a first line responder who can do absolutely nothing, knows absolutely nothing and can only escalate a support ticket to a higher level who will get in touch at some point. It's been two days... Anyone thinking about using 123-reg beware. The good reviews are fake, just read them. How is it possible people are leaving positive reviews for this company at a time when there is a 55 minute wait to speak to customer services. How is that an acceptable level of service?

Worse than useless. After many years of using their catch-all email forwarding from a vast array of different addresses on one domain to gmail, they decided to withdraw the service. This was notified in one email, which looked very much as if it didn't apply to me as it was talking about their mailbox services which I don't use. I'm now left with a lot of addresses to change, often with companies who need a reply from the non-functioning address to allow the change. Their support is non-existant - presumably they're incredibly busy dealing with other customers they've left in a similar mess. Wish I'd never used them.

123reg is such a hard company to deal with. Many issues happen and support is almost non-existent. My emails just stopped working one day, and it's 4 days with no answer to my support ticket. I can't wait to move my domains and email accounts to another provider.

Support centre first contact was extremely rude and put the phone down, now on hold for 48 minutes and counting! Message says 'we are still assisting other customers' so I assume they have a very high volume of complaints or they simply keep the call on hold hoping you will ring off. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Avoid at ALL costs!! NO EMAIL ADDRESS TO CONTACT THEM!! They have taken money out of my account as it isn't a direct debit set up! Despite phone calls and reassurances that money would NOT be taken from my account, they did!! I have asked for a Subject Access Request today and Madelin said he "would check we are still doing this" before hanging up!! Shocking and unnaceptable customer service who make it VERY, VERY difficult to stop payments leaving your account!!
