Yes good but i was with u anyway my renewal came tho and i went on compare. Com and found u were cheaper by $30.00 so i had to cancel my renewal and go through compare . Com odd way of saving money? Wen i spoke to 1st centre the rep told me that is the way it is so next year i will have to do the same thing strange way to do business

Once my husband completed his ins the site took him to a multi car deal offering £100 discount for a 2nd vehicle. I duly proceeded and paid for my ins thinking my discount would be applied at the end or refunded... Apparently not, our premiums are below the minimum to qualify that is somewhere in the small print so not even a goodwill £10 to say thanks for your custom! Our premiums are low and for that I rate 1st central highly but your multi car deal is misleading and hence very disappointing, especially as not even a gesture is offered.

Unfortunately I could not access the link from the Meerkats so I had to telephone the company direct (missed out on my Meerkat toy boo hoo) and spoke with James who was most helpful, talked me through and we did the deal. I would recommend 1st for ease of purchase and helpful staff, cannot comment on how they would handle a claim and hope I never have to but if it is anything like the purchasing of car insurance then it should not be a problem.

i had been with this company for 3 yrs and always found them good until recently where they cancelled my policy over something that was wrong with my direct debit now nothing had changed with my direct debit in that three years and everything was paid on time Any way i got in touch with them to get reinstated but by this time i had been driving my car without insurance for 24 hrs and not knowing this they had said they had tried to get in touch with me on numerous occasions via e mail WRONG they had been in touch once and 24hrs after they had cancelled also at the beginning i had told them not to contact me via e mail but by phone or royal mail also i told them i wanted to keep the policy going as i needed the car to go back and forth to hospital as i was getting treatment for cancer cells no joy there policy once cancelled that was it and i could not take out a new insurance policy as it was cancelled in the first place yes cancelled by them i found them quick in taking your money but giving no leeway what so ever they have contacted me by phone and post before and i have proof of this so it seems fist central just make there own ruling when they like i did ask to speak to their supervisor but got fogged off customer satisfaction nil are they helpful no so people i warn you it will happen to u at one point do not trust them i did ask for someone to contact me but that will b ignored as well i am one unhappy x customer

I can't really judge on performance regarding claim handling, as I have not had reason to claim. Ideal with it being all online. It's refreshing to have a reasonable quote which supports a provisional learner driver to be on policy also.
