“I paid 95 dollars to have my washer diagnosed and the tech said there nothing wrong with it still doesn’t work right had a window of 9-12 no call called the company and they claimed a tech was out will a get a call later I doubt it I get to hang around the house all day! Don’t use this company!!!”

“Horrible! They came right out but made me wait a week for the part to come in. So I had no fridge and lost all the food. He finally changed the part. Same problem again so obviously it wasn't the part that needed to be replaced. He came again, scratched his head and said I don't know and I can't get the fridge out. $320 later, I decided to just buy a new one this one was only 4 years old. Worst company I've ever dealt with. DO NOT USE!”

“It wasn't the repair person it was with customer service/support. I called to make an appointment and I didn't know the brand of my oven right off and she just rushed me off the phone before I could get the info. She just hung up. I called back spoke with someone else made it pass the oven name. Came to the money/payment and things went awry. I was trying to understand the specifics and if they would take a check instead. He said if you were listening. Then he proceeded his closing markings and hung up. Not letting me get a question in at all. I just hung up and called right back and canceled my appointment. They asked me the reason why I was canceling? I simply said you guys were very nasty and I hung up!”

“Didnt show up twice in a row for appointments, without remorse that each waited around 3 hour windows. They said if I let them come, they would give a discount . When they quoted, repairmen wanted $300 for what he admitted would take 15 minutes, PLUS $400 for the part which online was half that, and said rudely, "you want it or not". Called company, and they could care less... I said NOT, and wasted three days.. but will go elsewhere.. AVOID!”

“The worst service I have ever received. We called the company to send someone fix our refrigerator and as the guy came, he charged us $275 for screwing some bolts. Later he asked to wait for 48 hours for the machine to work properly. As we argued about the unsatisfactory service, his voice reached a different tone and mentioned we dont have any knowledge and need to sign the contract as he is satisfied with his work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR THEIR SERVICE TO ANYONE EVER.”

“This company is fraud! They use subcontractors and do not follow the guidelines of what is told to you when you call The Appliance Repairman. They charged me $320 to turn the water valve on!! I am reporting them as they are nationwide to the BBB as well as the AGs office in Florida. The tech was intimidating and would not leave without a check. Stay away from this company! No support from the customer service number.”

“Please DON'T use this company. Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews before i chose this company. The technician told me that he was doing the job only for his partner to get hours and that he wasn't making any money and kept repeating that I would pay more somewhere else. Why the hell would I want to spend my money with someone who keeps reminding me I would pay more somewhere else as if I don't know that but I chose this freaking company to spend my money with and I tried to be humble but what he don't know is I could go buy a dishwasher if I chose too since he kept talking about how much money I would spend somewhere else. HORRIBLE, I didn't feel comfortable time they walked in the door, no name tags no company car, no indication of professionalism at all, and just communicating with this technician I new I was not going to be able to proceed, and the thought of having him come back to my home makes me sick just thinking about it. $95 loss but well gained to never do business with this company again.”

“This is a total scam. It charged me 95$ before hand on the phone, claiming this is the service fee. Then, they rescheduled appointment3 times saying that they need to find an available technician. Finally, the technician came in late with no knowledge. He briefly glued the button of my microwave and charged me 270$ in total.. I was shocked. It was total scam and the fix is not desirable.”

“Do not use this company! They sent a tech who could not speak English and diagnosed a dryer problem incorrectly. Said the voltage was insufficient coming into my unit. Never touched the dryer. $95 for nothing. Totally incompetent to send a guy like this out on his own. No business card or id of any kind.”

“Do not use these people. They sent a technician who could not speak English well enough to speak with me. They could not get the part they say was needed in a timely manner and offered to refund the service fee; they never refunded it. Turned out their diagnosis of the problem with my appliance was wrong.”

“Washing machine agitator was not agitating as strong as it had in the past but besides that the washing machine was working fine. We called and paid $95 for a technician to come out and diagnose the issue and he completely took the machine apart but didn’t put it back together properly. Now the washing machine won’t work at all and the customer service manager Ray might be the most rude individual I have ever spoken to in my entire life. We asked for the technician to come back and put the machine back together properly and he refused to do that without charging us another $95. Ray told me that I am not a repair technician so I have no idea what I am talking about and that I can call back on Monday to speak to someone else since he is done “helping”me. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company.”

“They advertise as if they are a local company, They make you pay a $95 fee before they will come out and say it will be applied to the repair bill. NOT TRUE. They just find a local technician for you and take all of the $95 as a finder's fee. The technician that came out supposedly fixed the dishwasher, but when I went to use it the next day it was not working. Would NEVER deal with them again!!”

“BE WARNED - Not happy about having to pay a "finders fee" with this company (Appliance Repair Men)! The actual appliance repairman/person that came to my home was awesome and did great work. BUT, I had to pay a $69.99 fee to A.R.M., that was ON TOP of paying for my repairman. MOST repair sevice companies deduct that amount from the total bill. And no where on their impressive website, does it state that there is a "finder fee"!!!”

“Do not use this company. First, it took me four times speaking with them to get them to understand the directions to our home. They arrived in a run down van with three people: a mechanic, a second man who seemed to take care of the paperwork and a woman who seemed to have no role at all. The mechanic pulled the fridge out from the wall, immediately said we needed to new compressor and we were told it would be over $1,500. No attempt was made to do any diagnostic or to offer any other possible solution. Pay the extra and call a real service contractor!”

“Dishwasher was not working. Called this company on a Saturday, they send a technician that afternoon with a cost of $95.00. The technician who came was in my home no more than 10 minutes said that the dishwasher pump was broken and I needed a new pump. He only opened the door of the dishwasher and looked at the controls - not sure how he immediately new the pump was broken?? He said his supervisor would call me in 30 minutes with a cost to repair. I received a call from billing asking for my credit card number to pay the $95.00 service charge. It is now 2 days later, and I still have not received the call from the supervisor with the cost to repair. $95.00 down the drain. Would never use or recommend again.”
