“Hello! I received all my products on time and everything has been amazing so far 😊. The only concern I had was with the Maurten gels I ordered, as they were already close to expiry upon arrival (17 May 2026 and 7 July 2026) :(((
May I please ask why these were sent with such short expiry dates?”
“The site is very hard to use on an iPad - the top level menus don't work. You can click on them to expand the different categories, but it's not possible to click on them. I managed to order a few pairs of socks and a few packs of electrolytes, in one order, and it arrived in four or five parcels! I felt bad having paid one shipping fee. The delivery was super quick, and the emails tracking the order were easy to follow.”
“Product arrived with 1 of 4 screws missing. Customer support email was responsive initially, friendly and upbeat, however it dragged on for a few days with no tangible update on sending the missing screw. I visited the Christchurch-Moorhouse store, the assistant was apologetic and found a near enough replacement screw. My purchase missed the point of ordering online, having to do both online and visit the store.”
“The sales staff were knowledgable & very helpful. I was looking for cleated shoes, but they didnt have a great range in store compared to online, which they confirmed.
Would definitely go back.”
“Good company with good service. . The bikes were adequate but the handle bars became lose during a ride. We were able to fix them easily once we got back.”
“Honby 99 bikes, Emma is very helpful and friendly. She patiently showed us electric MTB and let us do test ride. Her service is professional and excellent. I definitely recommend everyone to visit there.”
“The service and delivery of 99 bikes is excellent. 5 stars. However, the product itself has a design flaw unrelated to 99 bikes. I am appauled that this was not picked up in any reviews of the latest Shimano XC302 shoes. The insole is thin but when you remove it, there is a fish-net pattern of plastic on the inner aspect of the shoe outsole. In our first ride of 10km, the insole is already indented. There is no doubt that upon repeated use, the insole will be wrecked. This is clearly a flaw in design and either built-in obsolescence or that Shimano expects you to change insoles every 100km.”
