I purchased three hoodies for a girl for over $57 on August 13th. I was told that the package would be shipped online through UPS on Sunday, Monday and then by Tuesday the package was noted to have a claimed filed by the sender which is Gap. And I called the customer service number and I contacted Gap Outlet on Facebook. I was told to wait until the 24th of August and to call on the 25th even though UPS had the package shipped from Tennessee by the 18th and it never moved or was updated since the 18th. By the 21st, UPS noted to file a claim and that it was just not available to be delivered. That's odd. But, Gap Outlet refused to pay me a full refund for the $5 shipping. So, I got $52 instead of $57+ for a refund. I would add photos

I have been a gap shopper for over 40 years. While the quality of gap clothing is what has kept me a fan favorite , I must say the customer service has declined in a major way . In the past , always had super friendly service willing to jump through hoops. Lately exact opposite . Not sure what country is now taking calls , hope ut was worth whatever they are saving but this could loose loyal customers .

“The commercial with 2 men kissing is sad and unacceptable. I will never shop at your company and my kids will not wear your clothes again. So disappointing and sad that this is what it has come to. I hope other people follow my lead.

Missing order and they offered me a 15% discount on checkout that didnt work. Horrible experience and never again will order anything of them.

If there is one thing I hate about gap is if you buy from a store you can’t go to any other store to exchange them or return. So in other words you have to go to an outlet store which is miles away from where I live. Which I find very annoying because you could buy something from a gap store to only be told you can return it from the store you purchased from or go to an outlet. Because of this I’m actually glad there closeting most of there branches

I had the worst experience with Gap. I made an order and waited two months just to realize the order was returned to Gap. They didn't deliver as "UPS couldn't find my apartment number" even if there is my name on the buzzer of course. After that GAP didn't bother to send me email that the order was shipped back and even didn't bother to REFUND my money. So one month after they shipped the order back (and I was checking the tracking number meanwhile) I found out all of this. GAP customer support said they are sorry and offered 20% off for my next purchase! And that's not the end. I tried to apply 20% code for the next purchase and the code DIDN'T WORK. So there will be no new purchase at Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic ever.

I am (now was) an affectionate customer of Gap from Italy. I placed an order at the beginning of January 2021 and it clearly stated FREE RETURN. Only 5 items out of many didn't fit so I asked for a free return label. The customer service people kept on asking to hold the package until Brexit shipping issues are solved. I have been in contact with them for the last two months and the problems are not solved yet. If I want to get rid of the big box I should pay an expensive return while they stated free return! This is false! I am very disappointed with the online shopping at GAP.eu :(

it was horrible the customer support support team was giving up on me. because i was unable to place my bag of. 4 items to final checkout. they weren’t listening me, i lost 15 percent because i started this this transaction on super monday which was 50 percent and had to settled for 35 percent on tuesday, i shop the gap before no problems this time ugh,

After ordering a pair of skinny jeans online they arrived but we're faulty, I returned them immediately in the same packaging via the post office, I then recieved an email 2 days later saying " the jeans did not meet the Gap returns policy" but out of courtesy they would refund me, so in future I have no confidence in ordering from Gap, just in case they do not accept a 100% perfect return (apart from the fault they arrived in). Shame really.

ordered 34" waist trousers which were huge (US inches??). sent them back on 29th September but heard nothing. emailed on 24the October sending proof of postage and at 7th November have still heard nothing

I ordered a pair of jeans on line and they sent the wrong ones. I called, returned the item, and was told they would send the correct item. I received the wrong ones again, called and was told the problem must be at the warehouse and they would correct it. This second pair was returned. Today I again received the wrong ones! I give up. I am returning this third pair and hopefully I will be credited the money I have spent.

This is the worst customer service and clothing store I have ever had. First, I ordered $ 300 worth of clothes and 75% of them were canceled due to a backorder which was not showing on their website when I ordered . No one also contacted me to let me know that almost my entire order was canceled. Adding to that the refund was wrong, I had to contact them to get the correct amount for the refund. Also, my order took 2 MONTHS to get here. After 5 emails I sent them asking for a prepaid shipping label because the website wouldn't allow me to print one for some unknown reason, I got an automatic email saying they don't could not help me with my request due to high call volume. So at the end of the day 75% of my order was canceled and what I received that didn't match correctly I'm not getting a refund because they are too busy. This is by far the worst customer service ever. I understand we are in a Covid-19 situation, but a big company like this shouldn't offer customer service like this, especially when on the news they said they made a money tone when Covid-19. WILL.NEVER.BUY.GAP.ANYMORE

I ordered several sizes of shorts and jumpsuits. I returned all of the shorts because they did not fit me, as well as two jumpsuits. The refund only included one pair of shorts, coincidentally the ones with the lowest price, out of FOUR shorts total. I lost money on 3 pairs of shorts. Same thing with the jumpsuits. I returned 2 jumpsuits, but only got a refund for the lower priced one. Unfortunately, I did not take photos of the clothes I was returning. If I had proof, I would make a case and pursue this further. They accepted all of the clothes I returned because they were all in one package, but CHOSE TO REFUND ONLY THE TWO CHEAPEST ITEMS. I never received two pairs of shorts I ordered back in early May either. Not expecting them anytime soon, but if they do arrive I am returning them in store because it's the only way to make sure I'm getting my money back. Don't trust this company with online returns! They are not honest about their online returns policy!

We bought some Sherpa Hoodies After one wash they are full of bobbles, the colour has faded and the shape has been lost To be honest they look 10 years old and not 10 days old

Wish I had read reviews on here first, I have always bought clothes for my children from GAP, however our local store closed down so decided to place an online order. I've had to send half of the items back which I did on 21/09/19, they received the 2 parcels back on 26/09/19. I have not heard anything since, so have just called them to be told that it can take up to 3 weeks for the return to be processed!!!! They have no way of checking when the return is likely to be processed & 'do not have a phone number' to even ring the warehouse to see where the return is. So in total the whole return process can take a month!! I love GAP clothes for my kids, but WILL NOT be purchasing anymore items online.. there are companies in the UK a lot bigger than them that can process returns a lot quicker & will chase it up on your behalf. Ridiculous returns process!!!!!!!

I can see that over 70% of the reviews are bad on Truspilot. This is not surprising as Gap have no respect for there loyal customers either. I have been buying Gap cloths for over 25 years now and recently bought three pairs of Pyjamas worth £44. Unfortunately due to defective materials the garments have shrunk despite following correct washing instructions. When I wrote an email to there CEO Mr. Peck firstly he doesn’t believe in replying to customers directly, as he feels customers are not that important and he is beyond customer status.This is a guy is paid millions of dollars in salaries and bonus yet takes customers for granted. Eventually I got a reply from a disrespectful member of team who was only blowing Gaps trumpet in how good there are, and asked me to take the clothes to a Gap store. Even though I had bought the garments online and supplied pictures which don’t lie I was basically told to get lost in the usual Gap language. I use to spend over £1000 per annum,but for sake of £44 these amateurish organisations behaved in an abhorrent way towards me,despite supplying proof with pictures. I would never buy from these cowboys again. Beware as they do NOT appreciate loyalty and should you experience any faults with your garments,they will tell you to go for a ride. Avoid buying from them is the only way to hurt these cowboys as they are taking customers for a ride in this abhorrent way. Shrunk garments refusal for a refund or exchange is theft and a con on the part of Gap. This is an American company that had no respect for European customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

The orders for more hundreds euros don't arrive regularly or are cancelled due to "system problems". The customer service in EU is terrible, you can call them only in US time! Ridiculous and disappointing.

great delivery and prices but be careful at the quality of the jeans. I thought that I ordered jeans and I received sth very soft like jogger. However there is free return with refund

I ordered 32x32 blue jeans, they delivered 32x34 black jeans. Now I have to pay international shipping if I want them to be changed for who knows what size or color this time.. worst online experience ever.

The products did't came with the label - hang tags, so It's no different for me than like I bought the second hand clothes. Customer service didn't resolve my problem.
