Service and staff are always pleasant, and the Liverpool One store has a huge selection in house. I would shop on line but the website is awful to use, the slowest I have ever encountered. Try to browse the 5 for £30 dvd selection and I have to allow a few hours or days, as it freezes showing 'Fault on the site'. I never have a problem with any other site I use, and have a 200mb line speed. this needs addressing.

Was enjoying hmv online but after a few months my orders would not process and I tried in vain to speak to someone to resolve the issue but just got sent the company rhetoric from an online chat bot,no one human ever tried to help me so I deleted my account which was a nightmare in itself,your better off visiting the store or getting somewhere else

HMV in Belfast no longer allow customers to go and browse.A member of staff will go and get the dvds or blu rays for the customers I'm puzzled about this restriction

bought frozen dvd with sleeve dissapointed to find taken price off pulled metalic from sleeve gad to bin sleeve couldnt be arsed to take back but what do you expect from hmv

Went into store to purchase Black Beauty dvd for a child. Was told it was out of stock but I could buy a pack of two which contained Black Beauty and Secret Garden . This I was told would be same price as if I had just bought 1 dvd of Black Beauty . I bought this for £5.99 but on checking your website the Black Beauty dvd is advertised for £3.99 . Therefore I was misled to believe the 2 pack would only cost the same as one single Black Beauty dvd. Service in store was good .Assistant very pleasant but not too happy with what I was told

Price matched CD to amazon, but when the CD arrived it was a cardboard case with cellphone wrap. This wrap has the 'deluxe edition' sticker on it and so I would want to give the gift with this in it, particularly as it does not have a plastic cover. However, HMV has stuck an order sticker on this outer wrap. Very thoughtlessly done.

Had no problems with their DVDs or CDs in the past, but everytime I buy an electrical product (like headphones) they don't work properly. Doesn't matter if it's wired or wireless, it's the same issue. Their online service is rubbish as well. Orders usually take over a week to arrive. HMV as a whole is only good if your buying DVDs or CDs in the shop, whhich let's be honest isn't really the thing to do in 2022, proof once more that we don't really need this company nowadays. Shop around online for better quality and results.

Received my order, unfortunately the case was damaged, after contacting customer service l was told in order to get a replacement l had go to my local HMV (a store 60 mile round trip) which kinda makes nonsense of using HMV online especially with the current Covid situation - makes Amazon look great - very poor online service

Absolutely DISGUSTING AND disgraceful DISGRACEFUL!!!!!!!!!!! I have spent hundreds and single Steelbook book I've brought has finger prints and dents and scratches I've brought well over 12 and my partners had brought me 8, it aloy of money and the have not sent one brand new one, , THERE SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICES KEEP LYING AND ARE ADMENT the sending " MINT" brand new suff fing layers!!!!!!!!! I have had MUCH BETTER STUFF FROM EBAY!, yes the goods and services from pepole on ebay are millions tome better, can u belive!!!!

Spent £70 on 4 dvds& and 5 CDs. At the checkout agent said, 75p for a bag. Told the agent I had no more cash on me only the £70. Had to carry the dvds and CDs loose in my hands around Darlington for over an hour as agent wouldn't let me have a bag to carry the£70 worth of items I had just bought. Been shopping at hmv since early 90,s. Buy all my dvds there, never again. It's Amazon from now on. The most unhelpful and disinterested staff possible hmv Darlington you've helped to lose another customer.

Complete scam artists, happy to take your money and then send you an empty box and when you complain, they call you a thief, seriously, do not use these, they're not the same company they used to be, they're scam artists.

Ordered the same blu ray twice, and they sent the wrong blu ray to me twice; the titles aren't even the close to being the same, you just get a robotic apology and no good will gesture

First it took a long time to get then when I received it it's of horrible quality you can't even watch it it's so bad and they won't tell me how to return it for a refund they just ignore my messages. I wouldn't recommend buying from them ever if this is how they service the public.

I ordered a box set on 13/1 and it still hasn’t arrived on 28/1. What is most annoying is that I can’t speak to a human being about it.

Your sight is terrible . I signed up to be a customer and subscriber but for some reason my details would not upload so I thought . So got emails off you and tried to order from your store on two occasions and you have refused to accept my orders as I have to input my passwords which I forgot. So I pressed to reset password but this facility doesn’t work either . You have lost over a hundred pounds worth of orders from me . Wont be using your sight again
