“The airline flights etc no problem but the hotel was rubbish every one was complaining we went to puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife in the Tenerife 07 hotel it was appalling booked a superior room there was nothing superior about it please don’t waste your money it was down a steep hill and even worse up a steep hill . I would not advise anyone with mobility issues to book or anyone who wants a descent hotel to stay in to book here”
“Just returned from Elba premium suites in lanzarote
The village is self is lovely
The rooms are high standard modern and clean and location great
The service and food however is appalling and should not be rated as a 4*
The lunch and evening meals are not acceptable for a4*
The meat and fish are dry and don’t look appealing
There is a big problem with no staffing especially at the adult bar and family bars
Only one member of staff at the adult bar to the fact we were served plastic glasses as they had run out and nobody is collecting or washing and even had to leave the bar to collect glasses and fetch more stock and ice
Also breakfast staff were so ignorant like they didn’t want to serving you although the break was good
We will not be returning and this needs adressing”
“Certainly wasnt happy. We booked an AI+ to cambrils with J2.( estival el dorado) We never got the branded drinks promised, just local rubbish. The hotel said it doesnt offer any AI+ and its J2s interpretation of the phrase that is incorrect. Despite complaining to J2 I was fobbed off with a short letter. Hotel was great just our package promise that was a black spot on our holiday.”
“At the end of July 2020 I was meant to go on holiday to Turkey with my son. Unfortunately two days before we were due to fly out he had to self isolate. We had insurance on the holiday and I was told at the airport there would be no problem as I had travel insurance...over a year later and having only once spoken to anyone on the insurance side I still have not had my money back..I cannot get through to the insurance company and email after email they say they are busy. Jet 2 who sorted on the insurance when I booked the holiday say for me to contact the insurance company. The phone number Jet2 give me doesn't work...Do I just say goodbye to my money, no I will be contacting the ombudsman next week. I recommend if you fly Jet 2 make your own insurance arrangements if you can...his has turned into a nightmare..”
“A good service from the offset. Flight great, only thing that let there side down was the rep (or lack of) didn't see one all holiday apart from a quick hello on arrival at Faro, then put on a coach for transfer not knowing anything. Great hotel, great destination. Upon return, again, no rep on coach, got to airport and was greeted by a "group" of reps sitting and smoking on a wall who couldn't really be bothered now that holiday was over. So really, only thing letting company down are the holiday reps. The airport check in girl was faultless though.”
