Don't buy anything from them. A friend of mine was been harresed and forced to show id while collecting her order whether it doesn't says in the confirmation she have to show proof of ID . We have stopped to going there may more and buy stuffs from there anymore. Rubbish service . Store assistants doesn't care about the head office instructions and rubbish behaviours. Avoid

You have an absolute printer expert at the chester, this eco-tank printer is the best I've ever had go see Dan if you need a printer.

I am still awaiting my garden planter that I ordered in May, I have tried telephoning, emails, messenger and still my order is not sorted, worst customer service I have come across

Ordered bbq arrived faulty, took pictures spoke to Ryman on day of opening box and email. Still waiting for response 30 plus days and 30 plus emails and telephone calls. This company stinks of incompetence. DO NOT USE.

If I could give them 0 starts, I would. I would not recommend this company, please avoid at all cost. I purchased a metal shed which I received in early June. Contacted them because the shed was damaged and it is also so flimsy it should not be called a metal shed. I have been exchanging emails nearly every week since 14 June to arrange for the item to be picked up. Every time I am promised that someone will be in touch within 48 hours ..etc... it has now been 2 months!!! I have asked the credit card company to challenge the transaction now as well. Hopefully someone will take notice and arrange to pick up this shed.

Very helpful staff at Sunderland branch (Mathew) plus another whose name I forgot. price of product (printer) best price on the market, beats Currys/pcworld and Argos by miles. would highly recommend this store.

If I could give it no stars I would, avoid like the plague!! Ordered a home office desk 3 weeks ago, said 'due to COVID there will be a slight delay in the 3-5 day SLA stated on the website and it will be delivered at the latest by the 15th July. That came and went. My only contact was via livechat. Apparently they are using an external supplier and their only way of contacting them was via email and I'd have to wait 3 days. That came and went until I insisted on waiting until they escalated with a manager. Then I was told that it was out of stock and I could either wait until it cam back in or I could wait 3 days and then get a refund (Just in case it was out for delivery?, makes no sense) then when the refund was issued I'd have to wait a further 3-5 working days to receive it! Honestly I wish I'd have read the reviews prior to purchase. Absolutely awful and please take my advice and what looks like everyone else's same advice and steer well clear.

Placed an order online and requested that the vat be refunded as the item was being sent to Guernsey which is a vat free area. Companies normally take the vat of at source but Ryman’s have refused to remove or replace it. So they are profiting the value of the vat as well. Would not use again

I placed an order online with Ryman in the belief that I was buying it from Ryman and that it was in stock. I was given a 3 - 5 working day delivery date. Nothing received so I chased up Ryman to be informed that the item was being supplied by a third party company and their only means of contact was via email, and that I would have to wait for up to 72 hours to get an update. Not good enough. The item had been ordered two weeks earlier with no sign of when or if I would ever receive it, so I told Ryman to cancel the order. I was informed they couldn't cancel the order because it was coming from the third party supplier and I'd have to wait up to 72 hours to see if the order could be cancelled. Again, not good enough, my contract was with Ryman not a third party supplier. A week further on my order is still showing as processing with no sign of a refund. I warn people.... avoid any dealings with Ryman, they have no interest in operating within the spirit of the sale of goods act and are taking orders they cannot fulfil. Do not use them.

Do not use this company. Wish I had read reviews before ordering on line. Faulty item delivered, after 8 weeks and 5 phone calls item eventually collected now awaiting refund. Nobody tells you what is happening just get told by customers service they will contact the supplier. Cannot stress enough how useless they have been.

Avoid at all costs. Terrible company. Won't refund your money despite faulty goods. Won't replace it either. Crooks. lie on the phone. Never do what they say. AVOID.

Please don't bother wasting your time ordering product with this company, customer service is non existent, paid for item on 5th June only to be told on the 26th June the day delivery was expected its out of stock, not by Ryman but their supplier. Cancelled my order and asked for a refund.As of today 7th July no refund, and guess what, due to covid19, same old excuse, we're experiencing a large volume of calls,25 minutes a time waiting to find out where my refund is, and still non the wiser, as nobody returns calls. My online shopping experience with Ryman echoes everyone else's by the sound of it. Ordered a fairly expensive item for a birthday gift which arrived damaged and looking suspiciously second hand. Many hours since wasted on their truly awful online chat with a very unhelpful agent called Sarah and the damaged item was collected (though not on the day Ryman advised), and nothing since. They don't answer their phones. They don't respond to emails. If you want to complain you have to address it to the email address that doesn't respond to emails in the first place. If you do manage to get through on the online chat after entering the same details multiple times, all you get is the repeated excuse of they can't give a refund as they are waiting on their supplier and to wait to hear from them in an email that never comes. Now £200 and many hours down and seeking legal recourse. Despicable company and service. AVOID.

In these times of buying items online, do not buy from them. Ordered an office chair and 3 weeks after i haven't received it or even received an acknowledgement from them. I finally spoke to someone in customer services and i have been told to wait for another 48 hours with no resolution. DO NOT buy anything from this company. STAY AWAY FROM RYMAN

i brought a printer , but it is faulty and leaves lines on the paper , very hard to contact them , the chat people said it would be picked up the next day for replacement , but had to wait 4 days until they said they would come , they were meant to be here between 8.45 and 10.45 pm to collect the faulty one , no one came , no email , no phone call , it is friday i will have to start the whole thing again on monday and see how long i have to wait next time , very disappointed , have only had the printer 1 month , i really need it for work , bad customer service , i thought they had a good name , its about time they lived up to it

Awful service! Company lists items for sale that are not available, blaming their "trusted suppliers", and instead of resolving issues, customer services simply attempt to prolong holding on to the paid amount. Bought an office chair on 3rd of May and still not delivered. Being patient and thoughtful of CV-19 challenges, waited 10 days for a dispatch before escalating. Was asked to wait 4 more days. In 5 days chased again and was asked to give another 72 hrs. Gave them 96 hours before asking again and they stopped replying to emails. Requested a refund and still no response. Absolutely disappointed as mistakenly thought of Ryman being a trusted brand. Will never use Ryman again.

Order is late, and they seem impossible to contact with email bouncing back and online customer service chat saying your not connected all the time. Will try to get a refund and avoid in the future.

I ordered lots of really useful boxes, but only half were sent out and delivered. Although Ryman were at fault, I was made to complete a missing order form, which they lost. After 4 phone calls and a wait of 14 days, I was refunded because the items had never been in stock, hence why they were not sent initially. It took 14 days to credit me (£126), by which time the full amount was payable on my credit card, so I will have to pay and not get my money back for one month. To make matters worse, the items are not showing as out of stock on the website, so this fiasco can continue to happen to anyone who tries to order the same size of box. Ryman do not respond to their emails and online forms, they fob you off when you phone and despite asking, I have not received a written apology nor compensation. Needless to say I took my custom to a rival, who delivered the items in perfect condition in less than 24 hours for the same price. My advice is to avoid Ryman with a very long barge pole.

I received outstanding service from Petrina Scanlon at the Kensington branch. After purchasing a Huawei sports watch I was having difficulty in trying to connect it. I returned to the store and Petrina took the time to help me set it up. She was polite and patient and exceptionally helpful. I really appreciated her help.
