Finally cancelled with Tsohost after a number of years (almost a decade) due to the recent migration which they described as an 'upgrade'. Their service has been deteriorating slowly over the years with constant server downtime and email outages - the final straw was that they decided to put my prices up over 300% per annum for inferior service whilst also removing access to features like Let's Encrypt so that I would be forced to pay them an extortionate amount each year for their SSL certificates. This is now a terrible company that doesn't care about customers at all and which has cost me a lot of business because of their poor quality. I moved everything over to Skystra yesterday (they do free migrations and it was incredibly quick with no downtime). Will not be looking back.

Avoid At All Cost!! My business email account has not been working for 6 weeks since they carried out their 'improvements'. Virtually impossible to get any sort of help from their support. It takes about 4 days for them to respond to a 'Support Ticket' question and that's not to solve the issue, it is generally another question for you to answer that then takes another 4 days..... and it goes in circles from there. Live Chat is a 5 hour + wait just to get told that the 'Higher Level Support Team' is dealing with it and no-one can speak to them (If they actually exist??). So far have spent a total of approx 30 hours on Live Chat and still nothing has been done. TSOhost is now a joke and I would strongly advise anyone to stear well clear.

This company is an absolute joke Please stay well clear, your online business or online presence can be at stake if you rely on this very un professional company. turned their phone support off, web chat queues are 3-4 hours and when you get through to someone they will simply say ''our other team will look into this'' apparently they cant speak to their internal teams on the phone. we paid them for the site migration (well in time, before they migrated to cpanel) its been over 2 weeks all of our sites are down and we are not getting any support from this company. we have been with them for years and years. its not the fist time they did this. we lost all of our sites once - a few years ago luckily we backed up everything as soon as heard about this migration.

Slow service - wait for live chat 1-4 hours on average. Not helpful with support. ‘Beyond our scope’ when they made the error. Support Tickets taking days to reply, if at all. Avoid.

I've been with tsoHost for years since the days when they were Vidahost, and they were reasonably fine. Within a couple of weeks after renewing my contract with them for another 3 years I got an email saying I had until November 10th to move my site as they were retiring the Gridhost platform. It was a clinical email said refunds will be automatic only after 45 days from November 10th. This is less than 3 weeks into my new contact and now they are refusing to refund any sooner. That takes us into next year 2023 when they may have changed name again or gone altogether. I've migrated away quickly and had to pay yet again with another host. This is disgusting heartless behaviour from any company and to do this to loyal customers is beyond any reason. I will be taking them to the small claims court for breach of contract as I will not wait for something like 90 days to see if I get a refund. Apparently in their own words a "bunch" of customers are being moved on as they retire their Gridhost platform. I'd advise anyone to steer clear as this company has become unpredictable and isn't even following it's own refund policy of 30 days if services are unsatisfactory. They are cancelling the contract and in a court of law they are guilty of breach of contract. I still can't quite believe they are treating customers of long standing like this, it makes no sense but I will not let them ride rough shod over consumer law. AVOID THEM, they've degenerated overnight into something I can no longer recognise, no one saw this coming and there will be a lot more people hit by their disregard for decency. Their support staff are argumentative and unhelpful, seems like they need to install themselves a sense of common decency!

Absolutely useless people. They host sites that steal content and commit fraud but refuse to remove them so they must be connected in some way. I reckon they operate from a flat judging by how they try to block people from commenting on social media and other pages. They've obviously messed up loads of people.

Have been with tsohost since 2011. Service was good back then. Has been poor over the last two years and now they have pulled the plug on us with little to no notice all I can say is they have gone down hill. Very disappointing.

Very dishonest. Asked them to cancel my plan and refund me the cost. It took a long time before they came back to me and refunded some part. They confirmed that it's all cancelled only for them to come back with a bill a few weeks ago for the same service that they said was cancelled. I have contacted them have not received a favourable response yet.

Absolutely rubbish, cant call them with issues, lice chat never works, i don't know how they get away with it in this day and age, should be shut down

Never pay this company for 12 months upfront! We are a long time customer and we're forced to change servers when they retired an old one. We chose a new VPS based on the info on their website and paid for 12 months upfront at £736. It turned out the new server didn't have some of the essential features that were advertised on their website once we'd set it up and started trying to migrate accounts across. After many unsuccessful attempts to solve things with their support, we gave up and asked for a refund. We were told that since it was after the 28-day refund period (by about 2 weeks), we could not have a refund, not even a partial one! So we've paid for 12 months of service and got absolutely nothing for it! I'm completely disgusted with the way we've been treated. We're now in the process of migrating all our accounts from our other TSO server to a new supplier as quickly as possible so we can be done with them, never to return.

Absolutely terrible company, I was forced onto them several years ago as they acquired some good hosting companies I was using at the time. It's been a shocking service since, some servers get completely hacked and then all sites on the servers are infected no matter how secure they are. Support seems to be out sourced now, and is very bad. They did used to be ok, but stay clear for your own good, it's cost me a lot of lost revenue. I'm no longer with them as everything was moved and no problems since.

BAD EXPERIENCES - PLEASE READ BEFORE CHOOSING TSOHOST: I rarely leave reviews, typically only for services that deserve a particular and positive shoutout, however, this is not my experience with tsoHost. Having been a customer since 2014, registering 95 domains through the platform and running hosting, emails, and SSLs through tsoHost, I must WARN PEOPLE ABOUT HOW BAD THE SERVICE AND SUPPORT RESPONSE TIMES ARE NOW. This was not the case previously, it was a great service with really helpful support but they have trimmed the service side down to nothing. I think this happened after GoDaddy acquired tsoHost. If you need a service you can rely on, don't choose tsoHost. I would be weary of GoDaddy going the same way, given the association. tsoHost mention 24/7 service but run an online chat service 9-5 mon-fri and ticket service. The ticket service in my experience can take up to a week to hear back from them, let alone receive meaningful assistance. If you have a problem with sending or receiving emails or hacking or tsoHost server issues - anything important - don't expect help. It may be that the individuals working in tech support are great and trying really hard but not being given the backup required. In any case, what is received on the sharp end is now terrible. I have 35+ open ticket threads. I try not to be a complainer, I am a fairly tech savvy individual that just wants the service to be reliable and there to be help if something fails. I would have moved my services away from tsoHost a long time ago, but they have made this difficult - especially with the lack of support. I will be doing so now, as I've had enough. I know my experience won't be everyone's but if you simply can't afford for these types of things to happen, don't choose tsoHost. SAVE YOURSELF A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE.

I have been a client of TSO Host for 10 years and have now moved thankfully at the end of March 2023. The quality of their customer service has reduced markedly over the past 2 years to be something that no longer resembles either service or customer fcoussed. Examples of issues are: live chat is dire and doesn't resolve the issue and when I raised an issue like asking why I was paying more for an email hosting than they had advertised I was given no instructions or help to move across. As a small business owner I felt incredibly unsupported and after a couple of false starts I managed to move and I have not looked back. I do not recommend them at all, incredibly unhelpful.

I've been trying to get a refund for my webhosting for almost a year now. Customer service is abysmal, I get a reply from a new person each time and nobody is actually doing anything to process my refund. Tsohost's justification for charging me more than quadruple my original sign up cost (in 2018 it cost me £15, in 2022 they charged me £80) was that they had discontinued the service that I was being provided and my new service was better. Frankly, I don't give a toss - it's theft. If no response from the customer, the default should be to cancel the service. The cost per annum had crept up to £30 which I was able to shrug my shoulders at, but this is too far. I'm furious, frustrated, and this is stupidly difficult. I have better things to do than waste my time chasing a web-hosting service for money and writing bad reviews, yet here I am.

Dropped hosting service without warning and gave people a week to save website. Extremely stressful, poorly executed removal of service and no care for customers. Many trying to take them to court for list business

Be Warned!!! If I could give negative stars i would give them -5 Wow, if you value your, business, mental health and relationship, avoid this company at all costs. I have been with TsoHost for a number of years, but no more. If you host client sites with them they will ruin your business! Sites down for day's emails not working Very very poor communication (Used to be very good) if you want to go round in circles raise a ticket, it can take day's to resolve a simple request. My advice is this company has now reached the bottom of the barrel and needs to sort its self out before all their customers leave them in droves. Just read the other reviews in this thread they are all spot on!! Use this company at your peril, you have been warned!

What a terrible, terrible company, run by useless people that do not have a clue what they are doing! Due to incompetence, awful customer service and bombarding me with daily emails last January (sometimes two or three a day), I changed my hosting company in November 2022. I contacted TSOHost to let them know, and got a reply from ‘Pavel’ who said “I’m very sorry to hear about the negative experience you have had. We remain available should you decide to use our services in the future”. For the last few weeks,TSOHost have been sending me daily emails AGAIN, (sometimes a few a day), chasing me for payment for a service that I’ve already told them I do not want. I have replied SEVERAL times to these emails, to tell them that I do not want to use their company, but they still keep sending them!!!! I’m not sure what it will take to stop these total idiots hassling me?

I've been with TSO host for years. They used to be very good but this all changed and their service is now dreadful since several years ago in my opinion. There's no telephone support at all, live chat is not available often and your website can be down (which mine is regularly) for many hours before anyone looks at your support ticket. Nobody takes any responsibility or ownership for you as a customer, and in my personal experience downtime is shockingly bad. I will be looking for a refund (again) which will inevitably be ignored and will take my custom elsewhere. I recommend to avoid TSO hosting at all costs as in my experience they are dreadfully bad.

Awful. Made changes that resulted in the website going down. Support is not available over the phone any more. Will be moving my hosting elsewhere
