“I phoned A & D, whom I have used before, because our hot water tank wasn't shutting off properly and was overflowing. The phone was answered, by a human being (yes, this is worth mentioning!) and I was given the charging rates and told a plumber would visit in the afternoon. This he duly did, even after negotiating the difficulties of parking in Cambridge. Although the tank is rather awkwardly located, the work to replace the valve was done very quickly and appears to have solved the problem. Would recommend.”

“A prompt and professional service. I had a lead lock installed where an old joint between copper and lead pipes had started leaking. I've since been told they are a very tricky connection to get right and have a habit of leaking if not tightened exactly right, the one Daniel installed however is still going strong several months later giving me the time I need to save up and replace all the old lead properly. The bill was competitive too so overall very happy.”

“Can heartily recommend them. My power shower packed in and they replaced it that same day. Also, the toilet sprung a leak and they fixed it that same day. I got their name out of the Yellow Pages (remember them?) but I now keep their invoice on file ready.”

“Mr Laing A & D did a power flush on my central heating and installed a new combi boiler. All work carried out to a high standard, on times and days agreed. Few weeks ago had problem with toilet cistern (slow filling). A&D able to send plumber on a day agreed. He was able to quickly fit a new float valve, toilet now working fine. Plumber left area he had been working in clean and tidy.”

“They are a very good company from the time I phoned they where here within 30 minutes. It wasn't a easy job they had to do but they didn't give up and completed the job nicely. Would definitely recommend A&D Plumbing.”

“We called first for an emergency attendance on a Saturday evening to fix a water leak, which had occurred when I was attempting to replace a pair of basin taps. The engineer Daniel attended within the hour, fixed the leak, and completed the tap replacement. We had to call back a few days later because of a problem with our shower. Daniel quickly found the problem: this was a broken gate valve, which he replaced. The work both times was completed quickly and professionally, to a high standard and at a reasonable cost. We are very satisfied with the service we received, and would be very happy to recommend A&D Plumbing to any other customers.”

“Our hot water tank overflow kept running. I phoned A&D and got an appointment for the next day. Allan arrived on schedule. he was polite , pleasant and quickly analysed and rectified the problem with no fuss whatsoever. He explained what the problem had been and showed us the old faulty part which gave us even more confidence that the fault had been fixed and would not re occur. He did not mess about and was in and out of the house in 30 minutes! Very pleased with the service and would recommend”

“This was the second time that A&D had helped me out, and both experiences were very good. They attended (to my blocked drain) on the same day that I called them, diagnosed the problem quickly and cleared the drain very efficiently. In both cases the engineer was cheerful, friendly, very competent, and left no mess. He also advised me about getting my water company to pay for future work. Of course, I hope not to have the same sort of problem again, but if I do, I'll be straight on the phone to A&D.”

“Phoned A+D services as I didn't know a local plumber, told the young lady my problem and was given a date and advice on price immediately. Alan phoned to tell me he was on his way on the given day, when he arrived he looked at where the problem might have been and within minutes knew exactly what it was. No fuss, problem sorted, clean job, lots of excellent advice and a bill less than I thought. Would recommend this company and already have given out the company number to a few people.”

“You should be proud to employ engineers like Daniel turned up at the promised time looking very clean and smart and solved and not only solved the problem but gave us advice on a further problem we had and who to contact we would mark him 10plus out of ten and if necessary would certainly use you again”

“Had called several numbers but most went to answer machine. A&D answered immediately and had someone with me within two and a half hours. Problem fixed within thirty minutes and advice given for future attention. Thank you.”
