Avoid. Scam and lies I purchased a water dispenser two months ago that took a month to arrive, as the shop is actually located in Hong Kong, not the UK. Unfortunately, the dispenser stopped working after only 2 days of use. When I requested a replacement, the shop agreed to cover return shipping costs if the fault was on their end. However, I had to ship the item back twice due to the misleading postage guidelines they provided(the shop asked me to send it by International Economy rather than Tracked and Signed stating on their website). I finally received a replacement unit, which was a different model than my original order. Despite their multiple errors, the shop refused to reimburse my shipping fees (I just asked for one postage, not two). I am extremely disappointed with the misleading product listing, a faulty item, poor communication around replacements, and lack of accountability for shipping costs even though their policy states the buyer will bear the shipping fee if it has exceeded 90 days from the purchase date". It's a scammer and full of lies. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS SHOP EDITED: Even though their T&C states the shop will cover the cost of the return if the purchase is less than 90 days they still refused to pay it back. As the shop is actually in Hong Kong. The cost of return is more expensive than the product.

I don't usually give reviews but in this case I felt I had to. For our son's birthday, we ordered a drone from A1 Smartshop. Product was delivered promptly but on opening it, we noticed damage on one of the drone's arms. We informed the supplier who suggested we send it back and pay for the freight. For damaged goods, it should be the supplier who pays for it. A1 then suggested that WE had damaged the goods. We hadn't even taken the product out of the box. The company was insulting and mistrusting. A1 agreed to pay for the postage but asked that I pay and they add it to the refund. I arranged for Parcelforce to ship the damaged product and asked several times for A1 to confirm receipt. Total silence from them. I logged a complaint with Paypal who I used to pay for the product and they judged in our favour so we got a full refund on the drone but not on the shipping. A1 have been totally silent. Thank goodness I used Paypal as I am 100% certain A1 would not have even responded to my mails, never mind refund me. Completely untrustworthy supplier who does not respect consumer law in the UK. Avoid this company.

I saw this statement on google - [at A1Smartshop] "We strive to make every customer the center of attention". It's laughable. I had a terrible experience with this online shop. I purchased a soap dispenser, which was sent by the seller with two weeks delay, and then went missing. Between the time of purchase and establishing that there was theft, I communicated with Andy of A1Smartshop. He demanded (literally, quite unpleasantly) that I present a police report and said if I did he'd reimburse the cost of purchase. I filed a report with Met Police, and provided the report to Andy. But he seems to be not from the UK, so he did not believe the email that is generated when filling out an online report on the UK's met police website. He was so rude, and subsequently blocked me on email, which is utterly inappropriate. He also refused to partake in the investigation between my concierge office and a delivery company. If you have an issue with your parcel, do not count on any collaboration or help. Count on an insult, which will come aplenty. Awful experience.

Aftersales customer service is non-existance. Order has been returned, and no one bothered to pick it up and no refund was happening They do not care about your order until you chase them. Do not use them. Do not use them. Do not use them. And do not expect refund from them. fraud company

Communication, etiquette and customer service is very poor. They're not interested in resolving the issues and in customer satisfaction. Royal Mail confirmed my parcel was lost and A1 was informed about that a couple times but they kept insisting I needed to wait longer. For what? Eventually, after exchanging numerous emails to nowhere I had to ask PayPal for a refund, which I fortunately received. In the end, I didn't even hear a word from A1, no feedback whatsoever. I won't be returning and won't recommend them to anyone.
