“For starters, I have to say that I have been with AbeloHost for about a year. I started with the basic shared hosting plan and upgraded to VPS within four months.
The journey started with migrating my site from my first provider’s servers. The Abelo team handled that completely on their own and just notified me when everything was done. It took about 10 days.
I picked shared hosting because that was what I had been using prior and what the people at this company recommended, and it was a good option at the time. By the way, I run an online business and have an integrated store and a bunch of payment options on my site.
I upgraded to VPS when the store started getting more orders and customers and we realized that I needed better stability and bandwidth and security for my buyers. The transition was more or less smooth, with a few issues that the support team took care of quite quickly.
Since then, I have had no problems with security or downtime, and my store has been doing quite well. There have been no increases in pricing and I have been notified of any changes or stuff that I needed to know as a customer by the company.
Pros: excellent security, stable network, incredible support team that is professional and full of experts.
Cons: upgrades/migration take a bit more time than I’d expected, but perhaps they are understaffed and need more time—I have no idea. Arm yourself with patience anyway, because the services are worth the wait.
To conclude, I’d say this is a great option if you have a small to medium business and want your website to do well and be fully secure without paying too much. I like the support team, I think everything is easy to use (or learn to), and I think this company gives you room to grow.

That is to say, they will actually recommend a plan that suits your needs instead of trying to sell you something expensive that you do not need. I approached them thinking I should buy a VPS plan for my blog, and they said that starting smaller would be better for such a simple webpage—it saved me a lot of money and was definitely the correct choice.
Next, they are quite good at helping out if you have no knowledge or experience. To put it plainly, there are no dumb questions, and you will not be yelled at for not knowing something they deem to be simple and rudimentary. Sadly, I cannot say that is the case for many other hosts out there.
To continue this tangent, the support team is superb. No matter who assists you, you will get the same care and help, and you will not feel like you are intruding or asking for too much. If you have anxiety, this is the company to pick LOL.
The company has a lot more advantages than it does drawbacks. It’s beginner-friendly, the support is amazing and knows its stuff, the security is excellent (there have been no issues or attacks so far), and the communication is super transparent.
The main drawback is the pricing. I remember that a few years back, this provider had lower prices than most companies out there. I was, at the time, with a different company, and those prices seemed too good to be true. Now that I know this isn’t a scam, the prices are on par or even higher than those of the closest competitors, which stings a bit. You do get your money’s worth, but the hefty price still stings.
In the end, I’d say that AbeloHost is an amazing choice for everyone, but especially beginners. You’ll work with a team that wants you to succeed and learn and that won’t put you down if you don’t know something.
A note for my anxious folk: go with this one. I haven’t had problems, everyone is extremely nice, and not once did they make me feel bad. There are still good people out there, and this company has a bunch of them!”
