A worker there named Lupe try to help us find it almost everyone they had on the floor didn’t manage to find it. “I purchased a Craftsman Corded Electric String Trimmer on 10/28. When I left the store I asked what the return policy was. I was told 60 days by one employee and 90 days by another. I just called the store (Rocky’s in Port St Lucie, FL) and was told that I could return the item, but only for a store credit, not a refund. They told me that since I took the item out of the box and connected it to an electrical source just to try it out to see how I liked it and if it worked properly it is not new anymore and cannot be sold. Frankly, that is a bunch of hogwash. I did not use it to trim or weed whack my property. I only turned it on to check it to make sure it was working properly. That’s it, and now I am told I cannot get a refund if I bring it back and I will only receive a store credit. You know, if I bought this thing at Home Depot or Lowe’s I would not be getting horsed around with this and I would get a refund, no big deal. If this is how Ace Hardware operates, I will no longer buy anything from Ace Hardware and I will be sure to inform those I know of Ace Hardware’s return policy. I am very disappointed in Ace Hardware.”

“The price of a red wagon we just purchased from Elders Ace hardware was almost double what it cost anywhere else. I was sick that day and had just come from walk in clinic to get it and drop it off at my great granddaughter birthday party. My granddaughter had a fit said I should have gone somewhere else in Cleveland. I have always shopped at ace hardware but this is the last time. Bird feed, plants, mulch, planters, everything there is now approximately double what it is at Tractor supply, Lowe’s, even Home Depot. Ace hardware , you have lost a loyal customer. I checked prices on things a regularly purchase there. Good quality but prices are the worst in this town. It won’t be long until you are out of business here.”
“Service dept doesn’t know how to fix mower had a month and a half finally thought it was fixed got home ran 2mins quit took back the fixed belt worked fine today I go to use and same thing wouldn’t work waste of time and money there”
“Took 10 days for us to be able to pick up mower,I indicated that I wanted it assembled. It was not , at least they took the 25 $ of the bill,but I wanted to avoid hassle of putting it together. Why even offer service if you're not going to provide it....never again”
