“The ACE Hardware stores are not worth the headaches, I bought cupboard door handles for my condo units for my airbnb's and misplaced my receipt thinking that there product would actually fit, as the sales rep on the floor working there told me not to worry, I tryed then on the cabinets and they dont fit. So I went back to do an exchange NOT LOOKING FOR MONEY BACK, JUST TO EXCHANGE THEM 20 days later. Then they told me that they cant find any records of a sale that the last time they actually sold a piece like mine was over a year ago...lol so they wouldn't honor there own products. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO SHOP HERE IF THIS IS THE CASE”

“I had some paint matched and it was a little dark when it dried so I called and spoke with Kelly. She said bring the paint and an item painted and she would do her best to fix it. Went to the store and Noah lightened up the paint and Kelly made sure it was right, even walked outside in the sunlight to verify. After returning back home and painting the spots it was spot on! Perfect color match. I know this seems minor but it was the customer service I get when going to mayfield ace that I like the most. Never have I had a bad experience at mayfield! Great employees make the business…. Remember folks, shop small business, these are the people that support out community.”

“The staff are friendly enough, but don't know the coupon rules. I had a coupon for $5 off $5 and earn 2x points on my birthday and I was told I could use both. They were both scanned at the register and I was not able to use the 5 off 5 coupon. I one back into the store and try to use it and I was told it's gone. So beware you can only use one coupon for each transaction”

“I LOVE ACE Hardware store on Arapahoe and Parker, I went in not knowing what exactly I was looking for as far as paint was concerned but Brit helped me with everything I needed from sheen, colors (4) and brand best for our 2500 sf home we are completely redoing. They delivered all of our paint to our home 30 min from the store at rush hour, manager and owner went above and beyond to facilitate us with everything we need and didn't know we needed to complete our project. the employees are the nicest and knowledgeable I have experienced in a home store. “This Ace store is a complete joke! All the Stihl product do not scan and the counts are horrible in the store. I have no idea how they even stay open. The owner Mark is clueless!! Don’t waste your time even going. I was hired then 6 weeks later let go through email. What a joke. Mark talks bad about his employees with other employees and doesn’t know what being a leader is!”

“We had 2 local hardware stores. They were true hardware stores with not only hardware but employees who were unknowable. Ace took them over. Replaced most employees with ignorant and cheap kids. I try to avoid them. Today I wanted 2 simple items for a project with my grandchildren. Apparently the only person in the store was a young lady on the cash register. She had a hand computer that was suppose to tell her where things were. I suspect she was not literate since she and her little computer sent me on several dead-end searches. Strongly NOT recommended. Goodbye Ace. Hello Lowes.”

“Ace Hardware did a terrible job repairing my Customer screen. I never heard from them so I called them. They had me call Joe the place where the repairs take place. He told me they were shipped didn’t know what store. Very rude. Then office called and they told them it was never placed. I got the receipt to show o placed the order. Terrible customer service”

“Era went past the call of duty today in helping me find a particular clock. He not only told me Ace carries the one I wanted, but checked to be sure it was in stock—and had it ready for me to buy when I came in the store! Era is a keeper—don’t let him go! Janice McClung”

“They are always Great, They are friendly, Always happy to tell you what isle, or even take you to the spot. 99% of the time they have what i want or something close. Sometimes the price isn't even higher, but even if it is a little higher the convenience makes it worth the trip.”

“I was at my local Ace Hardware in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where I bought several bags of dirt and mulch. Since I’m in my mid 70s, it’s harder for me to pick up these heavy bags of dirt to place them in my trunk. I want to thank Jake, Hendersonville, Tennessee, Ace Hardware, associate for placing these heavy bags of dirt in my trunk. Jake was very nice and pleasant and it is a credit to Ace Hardware. Nice job Jake.”

“I placed an online order for delivery to my local store. I ordered multiple items in a single order, and for some reason the orders were sent to different stores. I contacted customer service multiple times to resolve the issue, and they refused to do anything about it. I will never shop with Ace again.”

“As a complete beginner in tropical fish care, I walked into the ACE Hardware Festival City branch feeling overwhelmed but thanks to Dissan in the Aquarium section, I left feeling confident and excited to start my journey. Dissan’s genuine concern for both the buyer and the wellbeing of the fish truly sets him apart. He didn’t just try to sell me products, he took the time to explain which fish were suitable for a beginner and which ones I should avoid for now. His advice was thoughtful, practical, and clearly rooted in experience. What impressed me most was that he wasn’t focused on how much I would spend, but rather on making sure I started off right—with healthy fish and the proper setup. It’s rare to find someone so knowledgeable and sincerely invested in helping customers succeed. Thank you, Dissan, for your kindness and guidance. You’ve made ACE Hardware my go-to for all aquarium needs!”

“Wanted to purchase a new kombi 12in. Pole pruner attachment on line. It lists for $214°° but when you get to checkout they raise it up to $258°°. That's false advertisement . I really wanted to buy it but that's just wrong .”

“Ace is my preferred place for my home and garden needs. Their outstanding service in their in-store team is a major highlight. Though I've heard of some negative reviews on their online and corporate operations, their local staff is where I put the majority of my rating. I was looking for a sprinkler system fitting and Lupe helped me to find the part. This amount of dedication is what I believe puts Ace Hardware above the rest!”
