It took me 3 emails to finally get someone to respond to my pending BAS submission. I had no way to reach out to anyone over a phone call. I feel that if I didn't chase up, my BAS would have been overdue.

Doing my base was easy but always having problems with lodging my tax as last few years there’s been problems with the app. Asked when the app would connect to ato this year but no answer

I was anticipating this to be a smooth process, but it really wasn’t. Even though the automatic connection with my Uber account and prefilled info was pretty good, my overall experience was not. First, your system messed up my appointment. I booked an appointment for BAS assist but did not get any confirmation email, just the invoice for the BAS assist. On the day of my appointment, I emailed you guys that I didn’t get a call from you, and they said that there was no appointment under my name. They were good enough to book an appointment for me the very next day, but still lost some time there. After the call, I had to make some changes and was advised to simply press “submit” once I was done, and that AirTax would handle the rest and send it off to ATO. Relying on this, I didn’t even check my ATO account. After a couple of weeks, I went in to check whether AirTax had submitted my BAS or not, only to find out that they hadn’t. Again, sent an email to them, and they processed it immediately. But still lost quite some time, and will have to pay the fine/damages for my delayed submission. Customer service has to improve quite a bit. System is pretty good.

It would be nice to have a follow up email sent to me following the conversation because I have forgotten some of the instructions that were given to me regarding my queries. However, I was given some great and informative information

As a small business, Uber driver, which every 3 months completing standard BAS, this is acceptably good. But i cannot say more. I'ts like something is normal. If it is to be above normal, then it should have additional advantage, ie. particularly reducing tax liability. And yet, once going into this area, then require discussion with an advisor, hence additional $79..... much more than the BAS fee of $45. For Uber driver, this is a lot..... Especially, even then, it is still unsure if it will be successful in reducing our tax liability. If the additional discussion with the Advisor, even if maximum 15 minutes,is to be additional $30, this might be reasonable. And that would be above normal...

Basically told me that my abn and gst registration would take me no more than 2 -3 days but because of maintenance on some website that they use for registration I had to by Thursday which was 4 days since I joined Airtax I had to do it myself and after I did it myself I get an email from airtax stating that they registered me which is a lie ....and during the week I was emailing them several times to ask if they have registered me yet and I got no response then finally when I get a response I get them basically stating that if i didn’t like it to do it myself......the most unreliable company I have ever come across

Communication was slow by email and there was no phone number associated with Airtax. This was not helpful.

Do these reviews really matter. You charge $49 fora BAS lodgement when the income is $0. Looks like it’s an income generation technique by ATO and pricewater

I'd like the option to add receipts as I get them, I stead of all at the one time as it takes to long so I often chose not to take photos

Airtax is easy for bas but a lot more involved for the income tax. It's a bit pricey.

I do all the work, all you do is provide a portal to the ATO, the Uber link has not been effective for the last 3 lodgements.

Should be a text box to ask questions and get advice after a few days to respond

Airtax makes my BAS simple. The only issues I’ve had is when I can’t update my Uber earnings and expenses and that it rolls all types of expenses together rather than keeping them separate (e.g. some are 100% claimable and some less so).’

Great for the basics, but expensive for more detailed information

Sent me a receipt afterwards with another customer's details. Clear breach of privacy and I am yet to receive a correct invoice, assume my private details are floating around in someone else's hands.
