Ability to make calls directly to the helpdesk that has now been removed is not a good feature am

had issues with airtax since pwc sold out and vialto took over. Service seems a little slower and issues with the website seemed to take longer to resolve

Not what I would consider to be the clearest of communicators. Requested information about a recent BAS lodgement, but neglected to indicate what exactly the information required was.

I was anticipating this to be a smooth process, but it really wasn’t. Even though the automatic connection with my Uber account and prefilled info was pretty good, my overall experience was not. First, your system messed up my appointment. I booked an appointment for BAS assist but did not get any confirmation email, just the invoice for the BAS assist. On the day of my appointment, I emailed you guys that I didn’t get a call from you, and they said that there was no appointment under my name. They were good enough to book an appointment for me the very next day, but still lost some time there. After the call, I had to make some changes and was advised to simply press “submit” once I was done, and that AirTax would handle the rest and send it off to ATO. Relying on this, I didn’t even check my ATO account. After a couple of weeks, I went in to check whether AirTax had submitted my BAS or not, only to find out that they hadn’t. Again, sent an email to them, and they processed it immediately. But still lost quite some time, and will have to pay the fine/damages for my delayed submission. Customer service has to improve quite a bit. System is pretty good.

It would be nice to have a follow up email sent to me following the conversation because I have forgotten some of the instructions that were given to me regarding my queries. However, I was given some great and informative information

Its a great system until you need to edit 'prefilled' data from Square invoicing system which it won't let you do. Has to be reset by you guys after sending a request which might be the next day, so I can't continue until that's done.

If I could give 2.5 I would, you where a bit below average this time as the time it took and the miscommunication. I expected to speak to a tax expert at the time I called. Not having to keep rescheduling and the person having to double check a question that I had. Not only on the first call the person advised me that he only looks after BAS statements and had to reschedule a week later.

On Aug. 9 i sent you this at support@airtax.com.au ; "Hello, On 21 July I successfully submitted my Q1 (Jan to Mar 2022) BAS via the AirTax online platform. Now that I have submitted the BAS, what happens next? Do I get issued with some kind of payment notice/invoice from the ATO? This is the 1st time I am used Airtax for my BAS submission. What am I waiting for? Thank you, Gary Mente " UNTIL TODAY, AUG. 29 - I HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE FROM YOU AND THE BAS AMOUNT REMAIMS UNPAID.. Then on 27 Aug. I wrote the following to you at noreply.airtax@e.vialto.com ??? 'Hello, I have lidged my Q1 (Jan to Mar 2022) BAS with AIRTAX and have NOT received any payment email the same as I have received niw from you regarding my lodged Q2 BAS. What is going on with my Q1 lodged BAS please? Regards Gary Mente" What is going on please? I want you to call me about this asap please. I need to pay my Q1 and i cannot because you have NOT sent me anything to pay it?!!

Service has declined since Vialto Partners took over from PWC. My query re an issue with completing BAS did not receive a confirmation email advising that it had been fixed. I found out myself by going back into my file & completing it on line over a week later.

Only criticism is I was a number of BAS statements behind and it was not entirely obvious that they were all to be lodged and settled with the ATO individually or in one net amount. I assume because the system told me all the BAS statements had been lodged that the amount to pay in the ATO portal in myGov was the net amount.
