VERY PLEASED. I needed to replace some pieces to a dishware set I already own and found it nearly impossible to find (being discontinued?). Excited to finally find exactly what I need thru Amara (& NOWHERE else). Placed the order and started tracking my package. I then saw such bad reviews that I wondered if I misplaced my trust! My package was delivered in just a few days (from the UK to my home in southern US) in excellent condition with generous wrapping and a nice quality, personalized thank-you card and packing/order info. My dishes were meticulously wrapped in FOUR types of protective wrap. The order was accurate and in perfect condition. I would order from Amara again, and recommend them to others. I was not asked to give this review, nor am I receiving anything by doing so. I’m actually a tad upset over such negative reviews (saying “AVOID”, bad business, etc) because, had I read them PRIOR to placing my order, I may have been too discouraged to do so. Seems like some may have crossed with a fraudulent imposter, caught customer svc in a bad scenario, or while they were still working out some kinks. I also know they do not themselves MANUFACTURE all these items and cannot know if there are some defects in a few. I hope they continue to grow and improve, but as for MY experience, I must say how pleasantly impressed (& grateful) I am.

I ordered a Fornasetti plate and it was delivered to the United States expertly packed within one week. I plan on purchasing from them again since they have a wide variety of in-stock Fornasetti-unlike a previous online retailer I used that required a 50% down payment and then took weeks to ship. I sympathize with customers that are unhappy with their return policies but as a consumer, I always consider from where I'll be shopping from in the event I need to send back an item. Thankfully, my order went smoothly and I suspect that most do. I'm quite happy to have found them!

I wanted to share a review as I was very close to being put off buying from Amara, from some negative reviews online. However, people tend to only review bad experiences, and I'm glad I still went ahead with the purchase as my experience was flawless. I ordered a clock from their website, and despite it being the New Year holiday period, the item was sent out the very next working day from the UK and I received it 2 days later in New Zealand, which is a very impressive timeframe. The clock was very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, and it was easy to track and customise the delivery online with DHL. I was extremely happy overall and would definitely purchase from Amara again.

The products they sell are varied and different to others in the marketplace. Unfortunately you have to pay for returns should you find a product not suitable.

Ordered on Sunday several items, and delivery promised by 19th (Tuesday) of all items. Received half items on Tuesday. Some items still not arrived, and delivery notification now says earliest arrival is the 27th potentially later. Very poor. Asked for a return and full refund and refused, will have to look at going through my credit card company now.

I ordered a bathroom soap dispenser which was reduced from £39 to £11. It arrived with the top lose and not secure. I thought Amara would either replace it or refund my money, but oh no, they contacted me to ask for confirmation that I was the account holder. Yes, I am, a couple of days lapsed, then I was asked to photo/video the faulty item. At 75 years old I am of the generation who finds this task doesn't come easy and I don't like to bother anyone to help with such an inexpensive sale item. The soap dispenser is NOW on sale at £4. I will not buy from greedy Amara again.

Appalling unhelpful Order place 30/11/22 Email received stating item were due to be delivered 08/12 as of today 14/12 i still have not received my items even though payments have been taken Contacted customer service appallingly bad experience , exceptionally unhelpful staff was told due to high volume of orders delays with shipping Still no tracking on Evri website basically Amara are taking orders which they cannot fufill absolutely outraged at the service i have received

Rated 1 out of 5 stars No delivery of Xmas gift. I have ordered a child’s tool and work bench from AMARA who used Evri is courier - as a first time customer. My delivery was scheduled by 5 Dec 2022. However tracking highlighted the parcel was sent back to AMARA between 1 to 3 December. Reason unknown. I have checked my RING CAMERA and there have been no deliveries to my home between over this period and prior. Cannot get hold of Evri! So disappointed that this Xmas gift has gone astray in the delivery system and for what reason? I won’t be using AMARA again! Date of experience: 01 December 2022
