Amazon was once a highly recommended company from me. Their complete lack of accountability and constant changes made to delivery dates on prime and paid shipped packages, has left me wondering why do I pay for a membership to receive consistently late deliveries and watch T.V. series cancelled twenty to thirty years ago? I work in a business that deals mainly with shipping products nationally and internationally within no more than one to two weeks maximum. The over use of the covid 19 pandemic as an excuse to gouge people on a membership fee and fail to meet promises is utterly unacceptable.

I have been a prime member for 3 years. I’ve had the WORSE exp for the past year with Amazon. Most of the representatives don’t care. The supervisors aren’t any better. I’ve had items not show up, late, damaged or the drivers just darn right lazy and say they delivered the item but no item was there. And when you call no one seems to care. I am fed up with Amazon. I rather purchase from Walmart or my local stores. It’s pointless being a prime member.

If there was a zero, that's what Amazon.ca deserves. Many items missing, no transparency where products are coming from. Some are coming from China, others from the US or somewhere in Europe. I've been waiting for iver a month for several products. Asked to cancel and refund. No reply. They make it impossible to talk to them directly. The site just keeps re-directing you to automated faqs. Frustrating vicious cycle. No phone number or email that we can reach. This is just plain dishonest. Reporting to the BBB and consumer protection is the only way left now.

Amazon.ca does not take responsibility for items missing in shipping. It's a viscious circle trying to contact them. Ebay is doing a better job.

Wow, I ordered this magnifying lamp and received it the next day. So far, I am really impressed with the service delivery. The product is in good working condition and I am very pleased with the quality. Overall, great price, good product, and delivery. Highly recommended!!

Amazon.ca is a broker that allows third parties to sell goods. Amazon takes no responsibility for returns, refunds etc., it simply refers you to store owner. Amazon.ca is not Amazon.com with its many warehouses etc. Most of the items are from overseas including China. Expect delays, disappointments. Buy Local

0 customer service. Emails get sent back with a no reply due to covid. Number field for them to call you doesnt work. The number for customer service is out. Tried contacting there social media. No reply. Okay its covid.... But ghosting your customers completely. Taking my money then not let me know whats happening with it and no one to ask. I dont understand how the social media team can be taking pictures of warehouse workers and stories about them (during covid). But can't have someone answer emails.

Be careful with the price, if you don't compare the prices before you're order, you may pay double, I think I'll cancel my prime membership wirh amazon.ca soon, there was only once time I thought will get a good deal on one item and next day they send me an email that they canceled my order , can't find any good deal on here anymore, might have to go straight to stores for anything from now.

I pay for prime and ordered a product with 2 day prime shipping and it’s almost been a month and still not here. Emailed them to find out they aren’t emailing people now then I call them to get some answers and all they say is covid as their reason. Yet other people I know are getting their items within a week. I’m an essential service and The item I ordered is for work. Shouldn’t be charging me for prime when it’s not even close. They gave me a $6 credit to my account when I called should be refunding 2 months worth of fees. They don’t care they just want your money.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Amazon.ca is a joke! There is no customer service....really! They do not physically have a Canadian Customer Service “CHAT”, “E-MAIL” or “PHONE” service anymore. Although they can be selected online from their “Contact us” button....NONE OF THEM WORK! SHAME ON YOU ..SENIOR MANAGEMENT AT AMAZON.CA! You need to take some pointers from your US colleagues at Amazon.com. At least they have a real customer service. As a PRIME MEMBER I placed an order on March 28th with a delivery date of April 28th to May 12th....so here we sit 47 days later with no product....no current tracking information and no Customer Service to process a refund. Breach of Contract per Sales of Goods Act (Canada)? All I can say is BUYERS BEWARE.....AMAZON IS NOT WHAT IT ONCE WAS. TO TRUST IN WHAT WAS ONCE CONSIDERED REPUTABLE BY MANY CANADIAN CONSUMERS IS GONE!

I ordered a product and didn’t need it, so I followed the sellers return request. However I did not put a tracking number on it. 2 and 1/2 months later still no refund. I am out the money to purchase, and the 25.00 it cost to send it back. I have no product and no refund. The company refuses to do anything about it. I would have to say I will never order on amazon again. Very disappointing to know big companies can do this and get away with it. Worst customer service I have ever seen. You are suppose to be more protected ordering from Amazon and your not. Again so disappointed in both amazon and the company.

Amazon.ca used to be fantastic. We have an Amazon prime membership and because we live just outside of Calgary were so impressed by the quick delivery right to our door. Suddenly, likely because of the Covid-19 pandemic everything we order on Amazon is being shipped via Canada Post (ugghhhh!!!!) so if it doesn't fit in the tiny box we get a "tried to deliver notice" and we have to drive to the post office in a nearby town the next day, line up (they allow one person in the post office at a time) and wait and wait and wait. I won't be ordering anything from Amazon.ca until the pandemic is over... Brutal!!!

So I purchased some things from amazon, and I have amazon prime, and my items were having issues shipping and what not so it said that the amazon money I used expired and I had money back in my account, then the next day my shipment shipped and got to my house and now I’m negative 80 dollars in my account I would like to know how they could take a negative amount from my account when I removed my debit card information

I received my order from amazon.ca today. The description of what I ordered and what actually came was different. When I contacted their customer service they told me there was nothing I could do because they placed the order through a 3rd party. (BanyanImports). I canceled my membership

I had a very bad experience with Amazon.ca. I placed my order on the 1st of March 2020 and cancelled it within an hour the same day. I attached the photo. The order was shipped by the Seller on the 2nd of March 2020 anyway. I had to ship it back which cost me 30.00$. Moreover the Seller charged me 20% of restocking fees. I contacted A-Z Guarantee, explaining my situation and they refused to refund me these 20% of restocking fees (46.97$). The explanation is ridiculous:Buyers can cancel an order themselves within 30 minutes of placing the order. If this time has passed, a buyer must contact the seller and request that the seller cancel the order. However, if it is shipped, a return process must be followed. Sellers can deduct restocking fees applicable to this type of returns. So when you place an order, it doesn't state clearly how much time you have to be able to cancel your order. My bad luck! I cancelled it 30 minutes more later. Dear future customers, make your full research before placing your order! I hope my comment will be helpful to other customers so it won't be a trap for them. Personally, I'm done with Amazon.ca. Working in a customer service myself, I can say loud that this IS NOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE.
