“Greetings American Soda! I sincerely feel that one of the rules of success in business is that the customer is made to feel appreciated. Recently, I placed an order and the tracking was lapsed. I had no way to track my order as, "processing" is unacceptable information after three days time. It wasn't until several days later that I was informed apologetically, that there was an issue on your part. I understood that things like that may slip through the cracks from time to time. However, to show more of an appreciation of having me as a customer, especially one ordering from the U.S, and you being the cause of an extremely late delivery, I expected more than just an apology and offer to refund my purchase. The overseas shipping plus additional shipping for off the mainland was much more than the purchase price. A refund of the late handling or even a partial refund of the shipping/handling would've sufficed in this circumstance. A gesture such as this would've made me feel like an appreciated and valued customer. I would love to have given you a "good" rating but, will have to give an "average" rating, instead. "Average" meaning as in like all the others. Aspire to be better than "all the others" and remember that customer service is the key; communication is imperative. A happy customer will spread 'free advertising' for you through word of mouth and good reviews. I'm looking forward to a better American Soda experience in the future. “Being an American living in Britain, it's nice to be able to get american foods here. I saw the American Soda website and thought why not give it a try. I placed my order for a few things to see how it went, an it was downhill from there. The website says, 3-5 working days standard delivery. I was tracking my order and on the 6th day I looked and saw that my order was somewhere in space. I emailed customer service and inquired as to what was going on, her response was that something happened at the courier and that she would let me know what was happening. The next day I received an email stating that my shipment should be delivered within the next 24hrs. On the 8th day I checked the tracking again and it said package damaged being returned. So I once again emailed customer service asking what was going on only to be told, sorry you have two options: one being I can request a replacement order or two, you can cancel the order. No offering to ship my order priority or refund the shipping cost. NOTHING.. So I responded with, it appears that your company is lacking in customer service skills, and I find your response to this whole matter very unprofessional! I then requested that my order be cancelled and a refund issued immediately. I will take my business elsewhere. I'm still waiting for my refund......”

“I LOVE American soda. They have an excellent variety of US foods, at reasonable prices. My only complaint is, they have SOO much stuff, that it's hard to keep my spending down. lol”

“Found the company online whilst in the mood for some sour candy. I have bought online twice now and really enjoyed their products especially Caramel Apple Pops lollipops. The sour selection is great and will be back for more real soon. Thanks American Soda!”

“Overall the options on the site were good; a bit pricy, I guess because it is imported. What was unsatisfactory is several of my purchases had expired, American Soda should have checked this before shipping out.”

“Great service. Received my item promptly and in good condition. Only point I would make is that I couldn't see a way to set up a regular repeat delivery of this item (monthly) so have ended up going to Ama*** to place a repeat order. Apart from that - would use service for one-off purchases again.”

Hi Bev Thank you for your kind review. The reason we can't offer repeat ordering is because we can't guarantee items will be in stock when the reorder comes in. Our stuff is so popular it goes in and out of stock on an almost weekly basis, while some takes a long time to arrive. Sorry for the inconvenience on this one. :)
