I am 5'9 and usually where a small or medium but because my arm spand is 7' I would have typically have to roll the sleeves of my long sleeve women's shirts or any type of jacket or sweater to make it look like they were quarter sleeves or fit into a men's small or medium which still was clearly not my size.
