“The pants were too long (I am 5' 10 and take a 34 inch inseam) and way too loose. Unfortunately they were a final sale so I could not return or exchange them. Hopefully someone bigger and fatter can buy and enjoy them from my donating them to Goodwill. The color and material are nice.”
“The backpack pocket needs a button or a zipper because if I’m at a waterpark or in a lake or anything else then the back pocket comes out of the swim shorts. And it’s frustrating because you have to keep on reaching back to tuck it back in. But otherwise it’s great and please keep some shorts in stock on your website!”
“I'm really happy to have found this store! I no longer have to resort to buying men's tops to get the sleeve length I need. And the leggings actually cover my ankles!”
“For years I looked for comfortable move with me wicking pants that are long enough to go to my shoes. They are also cooling to wearing. So very thankful American tall recognizes there is a large community who need the longer inseams. I will be looking and considering more of their tall line of clothing for women.”
“The website is a little slow, but very clean and slick (I'm also using an older laptop, so that might be the issue). I am SO DELIGHTED to finally find a place that provides classic clothing for tall, lean people like my 6'2" 14yo son (30x38 pants)! And he loves the giraffe logo as that's his nickname around here. :)”
“The pants are a little bit tight through the leg especially the calve area.
Maybe there is a slightly looser fit through the leg.
The blue demin shirt was a little to long a slightly to big in the body. The two most recent shirts were slightly tight in the shoulders and the sleeve length could be a half inch longer. Do you make to order? Cheers ray”
“When the clothes fit, I have been very pleased with the quality for the price. It's great to have a true tall option where sleeves, inseam, and torso length are cut proportionately long. Black, white, or beige are the most common color options. I'm always hoping to discover some bright colors or prints in "new items" each season. That occurs on occasion but not often enough in my opinion. Even though I always refer to the size charts before placing an order, it seems that the garments are not necessarily standardized to match the measurements in the chart. For me, this is what usually leads to returns or exchanges. I have found the return/ exchange process to be frustrating although the process is ultimately completed to my satisfaction. Sometimes, it just takes a while. I have not discovered a way to speak directly with customer service on the phone. Chat and email seems to be the only way to communicate. When I've attempted to resolve an issue "after hours", the communication is with AI which I find extremely unsatisfactory. More than once AI could not resolve my issue and I was directed to contact customer service to chat during " business hours". I will continue to shop at American Tall but only because there are so few online shopping options for tall women.”
“The XS scrub top fit perfectly, no complaints at all! For reference, I’m 5’9” and 128lbs. I usually wear a size small, but after checking the size chart, I ordered an XS. I was surprised that the waist fit well, but the pants were extremely baggy through the hips and seat, almost like parachute pants. They were also a little too long, so I had them hemmed. I ended up having the pants altered because there was so much extra fabric. If you have a slim build, keep in mind that the pants run much roomier than expected.”
“Was not expecting such great quality. Can't find socks for my 14 yr old (shoe size 16) that fit him comfortably and dont look like old man socks. These are a comfortable material and fit him great.”
“Frequent shopper of American Tall. Great for long inseams and sleeves. I do have a recommendation though… maternity clothes! I have a pregnant daughter 6’1” and it’s impossible to find clothes that fits, and also has the quality of AT.”
