“Generally good, sizes are as advertised. I have had some quality issues & some home delivery issues. This is the second time they’ve emailed me, asking me to review the clothes that I bought. Only problem is, well I ordered them on March 23, they still have not arrived. Not very happy. UPS has had them for 10 days and still has not delivered them. They’ve been sitting in some warehouse for the last four days, 40 km from my house. No delivery. So a rating of “one out of five” on standard free delivery.”

“The flannel button up wasn’t received. The jeans were too big so have been returned but did an exchange hopefully the next size will be better. The flannel shaker was good but I needed the small extra tall.”

“American Tall's products have generally been good. However, I was not happy with the customer service I received a couple of weeks ago before I went on vacation. I purchased 3 pairs of shorts - two of them were the same, but different colours. One of those two didn't fit - they are too tight. I called to ask if I could return them for a credit. In an online chat with your rep, I was told that since they are on sale, there is a one inch leeway allowance in the waist size and that I'd have to get out a tape measure and take another photo to prove what I said. I was only asking for a credit, not a refund so I didn't think it was reasonable or worth my time after already sending a photo and explaining all of this. Since it's only $35, I was going to forget about it, but since you sent me this review page, I thought I'd respond for you to take for what it's worth. I don't think this was handled properly. I realize you have no return policies on returns, but I think a little discretion could have been used. I've purchased several shorts in a 36 waist and never had a problem before. My word on that should have been good enough. I expalined I was happy to keep the other sale priced pair (that was the same product) as well as the $80 pair I had purchased. Thanks Peter Winkler”

“Sizes are frustrating and not consistent. This is the 2nd pair of pants (jeans) I bought where the wsist is way smaller in comparison to the rest of the pants and how they fit. And then you have to pay to ship them back. The leggings and wide leg yoga pants are great. Love the length in the pants.”

“With only a handful of companies to choose from, American Tall is the best. Prices are a bit high, sizing is hit or miss but always errs on the tall side. Quality is hit or miss. The “tall” market is mostly a bunch of garbage with a “t” printed on it. At least these guys try.”

“I really wanted these jeans to work because American Tall gets the length right, which is hard to find. The length was perfect and the fit in the thighs and behind was great, but the waist was too big and there was extra space in the crotch that made them feel too long in that area. I could have had them tailored, but the amount of correction needed just wasn’t worth it. I appreciate that the brand focuses on tall sizing — it just wasn’t the right cut for me this time.”

“Fabric is extremely thin. I am 6 feet tall but ordered extra tall, so I had to cut off about 3 inches counting new hem. I have very long legs and high waist. I do like the raised stretchy waistline, as it softly hugs the torso. I won't order any more pants this thin. Might do for opera night. I weigh 174 and take a large. Extra large was way too roomy though I have big hips.”

“I love that American Tall offers more options for taller people. I am not so much tall but rather just have a longer insteam. I was very disappointed that even though they are an online only store, they charge for returns. I am very picking about my pants/trousers, and was trying something new in the hopes I would like it. However, they were not my style and did not fit how I wanted them to. While American Tall might be a good option for some people, unless they change they return policy, I will not be shopping from them in the future.”

“Quality of clothes is fine. Predictably in sizing is not. One never know if inseam length will be what you order. I ordered two pairs of pants in two colours, two different times and in each shipment one was shorter by a whole inch! That inconsistency is unacceptable. Wish there was a body one could talk to. Before putting it in the mail I want to know what the actual inseam is so I don't go through the hassle of returning it.”

“I really like the concept of American tall. As a 6’2” woman, the struggle is real! I’ve bought about 10-15 items from AT over the past year, and it’s been more misses than hits. The material is often very poor quality, and clothes seem to not last long. Also, the structure of a lot of the items need work.”
