“I bought these items for my teenaged son who is six feet tall. The length of the clothing was perfect. However, the turtleneck sweater was a slight disappointment. The seam at the neck ripped. I had to sew it. That led me to rate my order a three.”
“Early days but I'm a bit hesitant. The fit is nice. There were several stray white threads at the outside seams. They did not simply pull free. I had to cut them. That rather makes me question the workmanship. The other thing is the zipper. Its operation feels rough, and it seems quite SHORT. I would cheerfully pay more for a little better quality and faster shipping (WEEKS). But now that Levi's sold Dockers and Dockers only come in a 34" inseam, I will probably repurchase these if they hold up over time.”

“Purchase the same leggings last year and the size was a perfect fit. Purchase them this year again and they are extremely small! I purchased a medium and they fit like a size small and maybe even a size extra small. I can barely fit them over my ankle.... I was unable to return them because I had already taken the tags off assuming they would fit like last year.”

“This might be the first review I have ever written, but wanted to make sure people are aware of my experience so far. I am a 6'2" skinny male. I wear 30x36 jeans which have become hard to find. I was excited to get my orders and thrilled that they fit. However after wearing just one time, the first pair had stitches coming apart. The second pair I wore for the first time, also had stitches coming apart, but in a different area. To be fair, I have sent this information to the company in hopes of them doing the right thing. Regardless, I would be very concerned about purchasing these jeans. I have been a long time Levi's guy and seriously still have jeans that I have worn for 30+ years, and never a stitching issue. I really hope this works out well as the jeans feel good, and fit well. But for now, I would question the quality. Hopefully a fluck of some sort.”

“I don't love these, but they are definately long enough. What I don't love is the fit. I used the AI fit and went with the middle size suggestion, they are about a size too big in the waist/body area, but do fit well in the leg/length. I know I could have returned them and gotten a different size but I didn't have time to wait - shipping seems to take longer than I expected. Another thing that I think American Tall should look into is the sewn in tags on the waistband, these are itchy and would be much better silkscreened. Lastly, I feel like the front pockets need to be ironed after being laundered (washed and dried), they are wrinkly and bunchy. This could be due to the size being too big but I am not sure.
Overall, I would recommend these jeans, but be cautious of the size you order. I know I will try a different size if I order in the future.”

“I like a lot of American Tall's clothes, but their return policy is very frustrating. If you want to exchange something, it has to be the same color as your original order. If they don't have that color in stock and you're willing to exchange for a different color, you're out of luck. They'd rather not make a sale then exchange for a different in-stock color. They say something about their system doesn't allow it. Bizarre. Maybe they should consider getting a different system, like the one Quince uses. They have a great return policy and very easy process.
Also you can only make one exchange. I ordered a pair of pants in a 6. They were too small. Got the exchanged size 8 and they fit exactly the same as the 6. But I know they will hassle me if I ask to exchange again, so I just keep the 8s that don't fit.
I'll probably not buy from American Tall again. Too many challenges.”
