“Ordered a shirt for my son, sent to him for early Christmas. The shirt fit him really well, but unfortunately he noticed a tear in the fabric on the sleeve. The shirt I would give at higher rate it's the trying to get in touch with a real person to talk with about the return which brings m3 to my frustration. Would like to do an exchange but has been hard to even speak with anyone. Still have yet to talk with a person, but at least they have responded to my email. Will see how things turn out from here getting an exchange. Wish it was a little easier to have a number to call”

“I ordered these pants because American Tall did not have the High rise Tapered Chino pants. I was so disappointened with the Cargo pants. The legs are baggy and I never use the cargo pockets. I am waiting until the Chino pants are back in stock.”

“My husband was thoughtful and decided to get me a pair of jeans. Well they didn’t fit. This company was really good at exchanging the pair. However, the second pair I got was still too big. They didn’t want to exchange the second pair again since they already sent me a new one. So moral of the story, if you are going to order, you better know your size. Women’s sizes are frustrating for me and this is the reason I normally will not buy online. I never know what size to get even with the size chart. Material seems great color is what I wanted but I will not be able to wear them.”

“All of my pants are from American Tall. I’m 6’7” and wear 36x36. The last few orders, the sizes have been off. My last order was of three pair of Tralvers, which generally for me well. The fit was something like 36x40. I had a tailor hem them but they just do not fit right, and it cost $59 for the service.”

“I’ve been purchasing clothing from American Tall for a number of years now…maybe since 2019? Quality seems to be there! No real issues there. But sizing is terrible!
I have ordered and reordered the same shirts (same style, color, size) and the fit is completely different from one to another. One shirts arms are way too long, one’s sleeves are bigger than the other shirts, neck is too large, etc.
I’ve seen similar reviews online so I know this isn’t just me. This seems to have gotten worse over the years.
On top of that the order/processing/return timelines are really slow, given what consumers expect these days. If I order something and end up having to exchange an item (which is about 75% of the time with AT) it has been up to 1 month in some cases before I receive the product that fits, after placing the original order. Part of that’s on me getting the return back in the mail, but I usually do that within a day or two of receiving an order.
I really like the styles you provide and the fact these clothes actually fit tall people is great. But you need to work on the sizing consistency and expediency of order processing and shipping. It’s enough of an issue that American Tall is not my first choice to order from anymore, when I have choice to order tall sizes elsewhere.
