Joke of a company now! Taken away all means of contacting them, no working phone number, no email addresses. This way no one can complain about paying £10 for same day dispatch an next day delivery, been 4 days and they still haven't even packed the order. Service is the worst it's ever been. Will avoid using angling direct at all costs now. Have a look at total fishing tackle, tackle UK, tackle tavern they all provide much faster service and you can actually talk to some one.

Has gone down hill terribly since I last used them. Paid for priority delivery last Friday on two items I needed for this weekends fishing. Both items I needed were out of stock in stores near me. Today, a week later one item still hasn’t even been shipped. I’ve spoke to support twice, one when I original thought they missed a item, who then told me it’s shipped separately and I’ll get a tracking code within the day, and another yesterday who said it will defiantly been sent out on tracked 24 and would arrive by today.

First of all I've used them for years and constantly had small problems. I used them for their competitive prices. My local shop is at Goole which I can't believe hasn't shut as no one uses it much, the staff are not knowledgeable enough about the products they're selling also Goole a few weeks ago didn't even have a waggler float in....Hello!. Being constantly let down at Goole and the staff are obnoxious in my opinion I decided the way to go is online...wrong! I'm still waiting for a 3-5 day delivery 10days later, no updates online two phone calls and emails trying to find out what's happening. I had 3 messages yesterday from a delivery company that contradict each other so here I am none the wiser what's happening or when I'm going to get my items. I will never use again.

The bigger they get the worse they get this company is a joke, No customer service took two days to get hold of them and priority delivery £9.99 biggest scam going be warned

I ordered a new pole, which by any means is not a cheap purchase. After being informed by DX it was out for delivery on 2 separate dates, and having taken leave from work to be home to sign for it, it never appeared I contacted Angling Direct who didn’t seem to care that I had wasted two days waiting in for delivery and just told me I can have my money back. Waste of time and having ordered plenty from AD in the past I won’t be ordering anything ever again Don’t bother unless you went to waste two days of your life waiting for something that won’t arrive

Order dispatched quickly unfortunately DX Express couriers they use cancelled on delivery day and moved delivery to a week later, after many unanswered telephone calls sent them an email voicing my complaint one week later still no reply to email, lesson learned that's the 1st and last order from me terrible service.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS NO PRODUCTS IN STOCK AND THEY STILL LET YOU PLACE THE ORDER AND YOU END UP HAVING TO CHASE THE ORDER. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHOCKING ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH

Paid for express delivery several times and never received my order in time. Items are wrong and many missing. Last time I got empty and damaged packaging but the product it self was missing. Sent emails and after 4 days still no answer. Tried to call customer service but held the line for over 30min and still no luck. Completely useless Anywhere else is better then angling direct.

Wanted some hooks , still wanted to charge £6.95 ! Coulldn't you put them in an envelope ? I asked . No , £6.95 is our standard delivery charge . A very inflexible and unhelpful company .

Poor delivery service, bad customer service. I was sent the wrong item which was they're mistake and now they won't replace it, so i have paid for something i can't use. Don't buy from Angling Direct

Taking over a month to sort out an item that was missing a part and I'm still waiting it ridiculous there no urgency to sort it out worst service I have ever incounted.

An awful company, tried to order bits online ..got so far then they want you to sign up for myad before you go any further..came away and went to another site where i ordered bits online without being asked to sign up for things and was less hassle. Wont use angling direct again .

Paid for same day dispatch, not dispatched, phoned in, can't tell me when its going out, just wants to refund me instead of fixing the problem. Says they have a stock issue, when queried what it was, I'm told they can't locate it. I say, so its missing? Their reply, no it's not missing, it can't be located. Manager I spoke to Christina apologies for me feeling like not buying from them again. Ridiculous. Rather support smaller businesses and a pay a bit more

I placed an order on June 7th. Paid £6.99 for priority delivery as it was for a birthday present for my father on June 11th. On June 9th and 10th it was out for delivery but on both days the driver "ran out of time". Yodel customer service advised it would be delivered on Monday. On Monday 13th, it was out for delivery, then the tracking stated it had been refused even though no Yodel delivery had arrived at the premises. On the Tuesday it was out for delivery yet again but this time it stated it was had been refused as the driver had been told I was no longer at that address. Again, no idea where the driver turned up to as it was not the address on the parcel. Once again I spoke with Yodel customer services who said they would put it out for delivery again. On Thursday 16th, I received a delivered notification. When I couldn't locate the parcel, I contacted Yodel AGAIN. They advised it had been delivered BACK TO ANGLING DIRECT. At this point I contacted Angling Direct stating I would like a refund since it was already well past the date I originally required it and could not cope with the incompetency of Yodel any more. Angling Direct customer services confirmed that the parcel had been delivered back to them and that they would process my refund. This was on Friday 17th. We get to Friday 24th and still no sign of my refund, so I contact Angling Direct again and ask when I can expect my refund, only to be told the parcel went out for redelivery and was delivered yesterday (Thursday 23rd). I am currently out of work with Covid so can neither confirm nor deny if the parcel has arrived, however I cannot understand why, after having it confirmed that the refund I had requested last week was being processed, that this resulted in the parcel being sent out for redelivery instead when I explicitly stated I no longer wanted the goods. As of yet, I have not been advised how they intend to resolve the matter but I am not happy with being out of pocket and my refund now being delayed further because of an error they have made. This is by far the worst company I've had to deal with in terms of service and helpfulness - it's been an absolute farce.

Let me purchase a rod at discounted price AD then emailed me to say item was discontinued and not available, I have sent multiple emails and had no logical response and have even been called by the wrong name, absolutely terrible service was expecting better

Get your priorities in order Angling Direct….. it seems that this company genuinely doesn’t care one iota about the customers, I never received my package only to find out that Royal Mail had lost it ! Angling direct didn’t even send it until the last minute and now 3 weeks later I’m still waiting for my money back … appalling service- no apologies, all I get is more advertising in my emails … as if I would shop there again

Bad experience when returning an unsuitable item to the local shop to me, the customer service was appalling. The atitude of the shop manger left me very angry I have been a customer for many years spending a large amount of money. Initially I was told to return item by customer services no issues with that but the reception at the shop!! was unwarranted. I will never use this awful company again.
