“Our nye cruise on the Kraken on Sydney harbour was a very good experience - staff were friendly, bbq food was good and plentiful, open bar with spirits worked well and we had a good view of the fireworks from our mooring. The boat took about 80 people which was not too large and a very diverse crowd.”

“The boat was lovely but a few decorations and party props would be good for the NYE celebrations. The food and drink was a good standard. The plastic wine glasses were very small so these could be improved. It would be better to serve wine on the upper deck too instead of going up and down stairs all the time. We all the enjoyed the cruise and the firework displays were amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful.”

“The boat and the team are nice. However, the food wasn’t taste and the amount was very little. Recommend the team can let guest to get the food by themselves, because always lost someone didn’t get the food, and the amount always short. I just got 3 kinds of food that night.”

“We had a great time on the boat! The fireworks were spectacular and the boat was well kept, nicely decorated, and not too crowded. My only gripe is that the food came out very late and didn't circulate the boat very well. I am also vegetarian and the vegetarian option came out about an hour and a half after the rest of the food. It was almost midnight before I ate anything.”

“Good night on this boat. Nice food, plenty of drink and the DJ was fantastic. Right up at the bridge at midnight for a superb view of the fireworks. Boarding was a bit shambolic and an issue with the toilets (for most of the night) is the reason why I have not given an excellent rating.”

“We had a very good night on NYE 2019/2020. We had more food and drink offered to us than we expected. We liked all the staff who were very generous and accommodating. The two things we didn't like was being too far away from the fire work shows and the welcoming entrance area which was not well organised and very dusty. No one seemed to be able to tell us which party boat to que up for and every body was anxous they would miss there departure time. There needs to be better signage in future guiding people which que to join etc. Other than that I would do it all again.”

“Overall the NYE cruise was vey good, however a couple of suggestions for improvement: * Boarding was chaotic with no organisation - numerous people shouting instruction (which due to multiple cruises was not heard by most folk) followed by others giving conflicting instructions * Sample menu did not reflect actual menu * Toilet situation was a fiasco - women being given buckets to do their "business"!!! Ambience, music, cruise staff all excellent - shall definitely be on the "must do again" list.”

“We were a bit disappointed with the fact we didn’t get the full amount of time on the boat. It said 6-1am. And we didn’t board til at least 6:30pm and were rushed off at 12:20am. We wanted to party a bit more after the fireworks. Also the music wasn’t created to ensure a good party spirit. But the staff were great. The food was lovely and the boat was lovely too. Just these little things could ensure huge success!”

“It was an excellent night apart from the toilets over flowing and blocking up at 11pm I felt very sorry for the crew who tried to sort the problem out but couldn’t Yes I would throughly recommend the boat maybe hire a crew member with plumbing experience The food and service was excellent Kind regards Denise and David”

“The entire night was just fabulous . All the staff were amazing and friendly. The only things I would note was that the food didn't make it up stairs much and as a result me and my partner (who was on crutches) only saw 2 canapes. On top of this the capacity of the rooftop was quiet irritating. As if you wanted to go to the bathroom you could be separated from your group for up to 30 minutes trying to get back up. Other than that no issues at all like I said all staff were amazing.”

“Hamptons Sydney was my boat for new year eve. The vessel itself is nice and the DJ Music was really great, the views of the fireworks were stunning! However, the night was extremely windy and staying on top floor was almost mission impossible as the wind knocked you down. The weather forecast was known I assume, so it was an unpleasant surprise there were not enough sitting places in the closed area and I had to stand half of the evening. The food was brought randomly to whoever saw the waiter - guess it would have been better to arrange a buffet zone which people could access at their convenience. And the most unpleasant surprise was that bar was closed for complimentary drinks at 11.30 - to make people pay for NY champagne - this wasn’t mentioned in the reservation conditions and anywhere as a notice, just given as a fact. Sorry, but paying 650$ for the boat that has a standard cost of 50$ at non holiday time, I don’t expect to stay half hungry or pay extra for the drinks.”
