“I cannot fault the product (Gas 2 Coal)and I am very happy with that. However, the delivery experience was appalling. No communication from the courier (or Calor) whatsoever to provide a delivery day/time... or any communication to explain that delivery would be late. No availability at weekends either.”
Thank you for your feedback Tony, it is very important to us. We are happy to hear that you are pleased with your BBQ but that you had some issues with the delivery. You should have received a booking in phone call from the delivery depot to arrange a suitable day and time for the delivery to take place so we apologise that this did not happen and will certainly follow this up with the delivery company. Unfortunately, deliveries are on weekdays only. We apologise for the delay and any inconvenience that was caused.
“Based on a WHICH review and recommendation I bought a Cadac Safari Chef 30 LP and am delighted with it. So far I have done a braai (sausages and veggies) on the griddle and a pizza on the flat plate, both a success. It is neat, easy to connect up and stow away, and easy to clean. Just the thing for two elderly folks for a meal in the garden!”
“Heater works well but arrived in open and damaged box. When assembling the unit noticed scratches and dent. Luckily all sorts where ther. Suggest you don’t accept damaged boxes from DPD”

“The appliance is very attractive and looks cast iron and robust. Unfortunately we were not able to connect the hose to the appliance and regulator as the advertised hose that we bought with it is incorrect so we could not use it as planned. It is too small and it requires a 10mm hose. It was very difficult to fit the hose provided and after forcing it on both ends split. Not surprising as it was half the size so my money for the hose was wasted.”
