Euro King divan bed and headboard order. Ordered the divan base and headboard easily enough on the Archers website, arranged the delivery, and a couple of weeks later the divan base arrived (damaged, a rip on the top). No headboard. Archers chased that up and a week or so later a headboard duly arrived, but it was a UK King sized headboard, so didn’t fit the Euro King base. A second headboard was arranged, and a couple of weeks later that arrived. Another UK King. A third headboard was arranged, which took longer, as I had to take photos of the first two to prove that I was being sent the wrong ones (surely someone must have known what they were shipping out to me). The courier didn’t deliver on the day stated, so another week went by, but then finally after almost two months, and taking 5 days off work to wait in for couriers, I received the correct headboard. In fairness to them Archers were mostly good at responding to e-mails, but as the bed and headboard were sent direct from the manufacturer it just seemed to take a long time for them to find out any information, and they seemed to have no control at all over what was happening. Overall not a great experience. Maybe the manufacturer doesn’t sell many Euro King beds and we were just unlucky, but wouldn’t use again.

After ordering a set of chest of draws in August they arrived damaged! Agreed to change draws for a new pair but would be back in stock untill the end of Oct! Nov comes and no update on new draws! Finally get sent a new set which are also damaged! Phoned to report, had no apology, took them 3weeks to organise for them to be recollected and still haven’t issued me my refund that was agreed! Absolutely useless company. Would avoid like the plague

It was terrible from start to finish - placed order online no confirmation after ringing 3 times mattress arrived without any trouble but the bed was a different story didn't inform us when it was coming luckily we were in when it arrived act able and chairs set and no bed frame! Got my name on another order someone got my bed frame rang bed firm up no apology but said bed would arrive soon (no date given ) after numerous phone calls bed arrived with headboard damaged - another round of phone calls followed eventually replacement headboard arrived along with a replacement bed (which we didn't accept)the delivery men also asked me to hand over the table and chairs which I did not have The firm just needs to train it's staff to be more organised and also how to deal with complaints in a sympathetic manner Will.not be be using this company again It was a bad experience and should not have happened Never did get my purchase confirmation!!!

I had the worst internet shopping experience in my life with these guys. I ordered a bed, and mattress, arranged delivery, spent time at home when I should have been at work, courier didn't arrive until near 7pm, i was given an all day slot until 6pm. When it did arrive only a mattress no bed frame. I rang them the next day, they told me the bed had been discontinued, and they shouldnt have accepted the order. I had to arrange collection of the mattress. I have now ordered from Time 4 Sleep and this is a much more slicker experience, with full communication. Please stay clear of these guys, and believe all the bad reviews.

Spend your money elsewhere. Deal with these people at your own risk. I ordered over the web. Under no circumstance should you part with any money with this company. They have zero regard for your consumer rights and zero regard for customer service. They completely ignore any requests or dialogue on refunds and have refused to refund my cash having now had hold of it for 19 days. I too should have listened to the reviews.

Do not buy a bed from this company! I should of listened to all the other reviews I found about this company but I just thought it wouldn't happen to me. Waited 8 weeks for a bed no contact from them at all I had to chase for updates, bed was late was weeks late and I waited in a whole day when the bed was confirmed to be coming which never turned up and then chased them again and confirmed another day and even with me ringing them in the morning and then confirming the bed would be sent out it never turned up AGAIN 2 days wasted! Left a message for the manager to call me, he never called me! Now the bed finaly arrives today and it's the wrong colour! Find another company to buy your bed, my family and friends can not believe how this company works and what has happened its absolutely disgusting they should not be trading!

If you want a bed, whatever you do, DONT buy one from Archers Sleepcentre!!! I ordered an Arya bed-frame from them on 31st March. They took the money straightaway and I was promised delivery on 5th April. On the 4th April after I'd booked a day off work for delivery, I got an email to say the bed would not be available till July! On 18th May I chose an alternative The Baratheon as this was showing available for immediate delivery on their website. I emailed them 3 times before I got a response and that was only to tell me that the Baratheon wasn't in stock either and would be 8 weeks delivery! On 24th May I rang Archers again and chose a 3rd bed-frame which again was showing in stock a Sansa, I spoke to [name removed] and he assured me that it was available and they would deliver it Friday 26th May. I booked a second day off work and waited in but no bed arrived! I rang but no answer! So I sent them an email asking when would my bed be arriving. I actually got a reply to say they had checked the stock of The Sansa and there was none available and the manufacturers wouldn't have any stock till 16th June! I emailed them back saying I could not believe I'd had a second day off work waiting in for a bed that was never going to arrive, and nobody from Archers had had the decency to let me know otherwise! [name removed] emailed and said "I will look into this on 16th June and if you want to call me on this day I will make sure they are there for you so we are not letting you down again" Well the 16th June arrived, and after another email from myself asking if stock had arrived which again they chose to ignore, we called Archers to be told they had not heard from the suppliers and for us to call back on Monday 19th June! I rang them on the 19th spoke to [name removed], he never even apologized for any of the inconvenience I had been caused, he promised he would ring me back by the end of the day ...surprise surprise he never did!! After another 3 days had passed, I gave up hope with Archers and contacted my bank as I had paid by credit card luckily. I saw the same bed-frame on Groupon which I ordered on a Saturday and it was delivered by Wednesday and so much cheaper :) Avoid Archers at all costs, I have never experienced such terrible customer service in my life!!!

January 2017, ordered Archers OrthoPocket 1500 Extra Firm Mattress £300 online, no e-receipt, delivered end of January on agreed date but hours after original time slot. Within a few weeks I felt that this extra firm mattress was extra soft. Lots going on personally including moving house so bed wasn't prioritised. Three months after delivery the bed was insufferable and I was groaning in agony lying on it, my wife was also suffering considerable discomfort. I had found some dicloflex tables in the medicine box (very strong ibuprofen) that helped with the back and neck pain caused by the bed. I borrowed some firm foam padding and slept on that. It gave me a few decent nights sleep but the decision was made, the mattress had to go. Sat 29th April - I phoned Archers ([name removed]) promised a call back following Monday or Tuesday, no call. Wed 3rd May I phoned again spoke to [name removed] said [name removed] would phone back, no call. By this time I was wondering if I've been duped and searched for reviews online and read them on this page, wish I had done it before we bought from Archers, When 80% of the reviews are bad there is a problem. Had a rethink. If they ever phoned back and did something about it would I want another? No. Would I pay more and upgrade? No. I'd read a review where someone started with a £600 mattress upgraded to a £750 and then again to £1200 and still weren't happy. Whether or not Archers did anything about it I was not giving them more money. Saturday 6th May, Went to IKEA and bought a new mattress, £300. First decent nights sleep I have had in well over three months. No aches pains or anything else. Woke up refreshed just as you would expect to. I'd forgotten how it felt. Sunday 6th May, they phoned me back. Told me they were not sending someone out to inspect it and that they were taking my word that the mattress was faulty and a replacement will be delivered within 10 - 14 days. No word from them 23 days later. Decided to get Consumer Advice so I phoned 0345 404 0506 and they were excellent. and guided me through the process. It was thanks to their help and advice that I was given a full refund and Archers collected the mattress. I am glad that this is all over and that we have had a full refund but one thing is for sure, I would never use Archers again.

Order WP86908 I was under the impression after ordering and paying for my bed that I had been given the choice of having two men deliver and install it for an extra £33. When I arranged for delivery I was informed that this service is not offered by Archers except for adjustable beds. This certainly was not made clear. We are in our seventies and will find installing this bed very difficult. I was going to order a super King mattress once this bed was delivered. I'll obviously go elsewhere now.

Ordered three beds in early January, it is now easter 12 weeks later and despite many promises from [name removed] and [name removed] at head office regarding due delivery nothing has materialised. They do not live up to their promises and obviously make up lies when you call as after seven promise dates - still nothing. I wish I had read the Trust Pilot, Feefo and other on line reviews before buying. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY!!! you have been warned

Ordered a single bed for my daughter and paid £15 for Morning delivery which i took time off work for. It arrived at 15:30pm. Wrong bed! Waited in 4 days later for it to be collected and new ine to be delivered. Collected old bed and then waited all day for coorect bed that never arrived. Told by Archers that 'actually the old bed was not in stock' with a 3 week wait! refunded with one very disappointed daughter!

Ordered a bed frame, mattress & mattress cover from archers on mon 17/9 to be delivered wed 19/9 before 1pm .they were all delivered on time in fact well before 1pm . A special mention for Stuart who took our order really nice guy ,very efficient.alltogether PERFECT

Bought bunk beds and mattresses for my young children only to discover mattresses were too big and exceeded safety limits. Called store to complain and arrange an exchange to be told "no-one else has complained" , "they'll be fine in 6mths when they drop down (er, what about my children's safety for the first 6mths?!) that these weren't safety limits only guidelines (bunkbeds clearly state these are safety limits) and finally it was "my fault anyway as I chose those mattresses", I was up sold them in the shop. Am completely appalled at total lack of customer service, worst I've ever received. Couldn't believe how rude the staff (Glasgow great western rd) staff were on the phone.

Ordered a chest of drawers and a bedside cabinet from the shop in Edinburgh. I was not told it would take 6 weeks and would come from Germany. I paid a lot of money for the 2 items, when I finally got them home after collecting them myself, there was parts missing and the instructions where in German. I Phoned the shop they said I would have to collect missing parts as no one in the shop could drive. That was just the short version of my experience with this shop, it was the worst service I have ever received, especially having paid a lot of money and not worth what I paid for them.

Bought a Birlea Berlin King Size Grey Fabric Bed Frame and it didn't last 1 night!! Slats broke off in middle of the night and 1 split. Steer clear!!

I ordered a divan bed and mattress and asked for it to be delivered on a certain day and not on a Friday! I am disabled and had made arrangements for someone to come in and put up the new bed for me and they were not available Fridays. So you can guess what happened ! Yes they tried to deliver it on a Friday, with no prior warning whatsoever, and when I refused delivery because my old bed was still up, and taking up all our available room the driver was most ignorant. Not only that but they refused to take the bed upstairs for me ! Also whilst I was signing for the delivery the driver sat outside in the van with his finger on the horn. I telephoned after to complain but they were just not interested so I shall never use them again! As regards to customer service they just don't have any!

I had 3 orders order for over £1500, and all orders was delayed last one received after 2 month.Some items arrived dirty.Very poor service. Will never use again and not recommending to anyone .
