"I went to Arnold Clark in Linwood for a Motability car as they had 2 models at 2 different advance payments displayed on their website. It was \u00a3999 for the car with more spec and \u00a3499 for car with lower spec. But after talking with the Motability specialist I was informed that I would have to pay \u00a31999 for 1st car and \u00a31499 for 2nd car. I asked him why I wasn\u2019t getting the price on the website he said those were February prices. This was on Wednesday 26th February. I initially wanted the \u00a3999 car but I couldn\u2019t find another \u00a31000 for it so I had to get the \u00a31499 and I have to find the extra money for that. I left a review on Trustpilot and I received a reply asking me to phone the number that was provided by them. I phoned and was asked to email screenshots of the prices as displayed on their website (I\u2019m pretty sure they could have gotten them themselves). I also provided a screenshot of my application with the price I was being asked to pay. That was on Friday 28th February. I have updated my review every day since then stating that the pricing is still displayed on their website as \u00a3999 and \u00a3499. So today I decided to phone a different company who have the same advance payments displayed on their website and I was informed by the Motability specialist that the car manufacturer will cover \u00a3500 and Motability will cover \u00a3500 of advance payments if the car is registered and taxed in March. My car will be registered and taxed in March. I phoned the Motability specialist from Arnold Clark but I was told that he was with a customer and could the person who I was speaking to help me with anything and I explained about what I had found out after speaking to another company. He said that he didn\u2019t know anything about Motability so Jon would have to call me back. This was at about 4:30pm and they don\u2019t close until 8pm but I received no phone call from him. I think it\u2019s ridiculous how they are trying to get more money from people when it\u2019s already hard enough to get the advance payment."

"Arnold Clark sold me a Rio 1.0 turbo. All photos, technical spec and documentation showed this. But when I went to arrange my own cover registration showed it was a non turbo 1.2. Two hours of fobbing me off and saying emissions showed it was likely a turbo- and dealing with three staff later I asked them to get a mechanic, to lift the bonnet and see if there was physically a turbo! There wasn't. No apology. No attempt to source another car at same price. Manager failed to email me and it's now a week after my complaint went in and still no reply despite chasing them. They said it would take 5 days to get my money back but put it back in my account after two without even telling me. The kicker is that I was buying this from a Kia main dealer site, the car was a 23 plate so the very same salesmen were actually selling them new last year so presumably knew all along what model it was. Make your own minds up about whether this is acceptable. They left me seriously out of pocket, lost me the sale of my old car because I couldn't pick up the new one etc. \r\nI accept mistakes can be made but not the lack of apology and failure to try and make it good. The enclosed screen shot of their advert clearly shows the wrong model advertised."

"Recently purchased a car from the Huddersfield branch. Olivia Child and her manager provided very poor customer service. They sent us a video of the car deceptively, without showing the actual condition of the car. When I went to receive the car, I found an issue and spoke with the click-and-collect guy in London. He informed me to send them an email since it was Sunday and they couldn't do anything at the moment, but assured me they would fix it later. Now, they are telling me they can't do anything because I already signed the agreement. Please be aware of this branch."

"Well where ro start the fact we were mis sold a car being told the paint work was pristine but when it arrived from Huddersfield there are chips and scratches everywhere. No tyre repair kit no spread tyre the towing eye has been removed the tyres have chunks out it. We were told the car would be transported up and it was drive adding 200 + miles on the clock the manager Sonny at Huddersfield stating david apologised for saying that the car was pristine as if that make a difference him refusing to properly repair the car the tyres were not replaced the head of business stuart copeland not replying to any email however we have heard that he is not great to deal with which I am surprised t considering his position in the company. When we asked for a refund being told we can't it's against company policy its against policy to fix the paint the properly it really doesn't show a good picture of arnold clark as a company also missing buttons and loose buttons from the inside . As it's arnold clarks policy to not help in any way it is my policy to name every one of these unhelpful arrogant workers at arnold clark Huddersfield on social media I will tag and clark in it so you can have a watch and see the comments you might need to tell the staff at this place as I will be using full names! This will be true facts only nothing else so if thus Brancepeth have nothing to hide and are happy with the service they have provided they they should be over the moon with the review"
