“Overall a nice, high quality product. I was apprehensive about spending this much on a wallet without holding it in my hands, but it's every bit as nice as I was hoping. You really do get what you pay for.”

“Received an “irregular” Fat Herbie in Amaretto Shell with some very minor scratches. Hit it with a brush and the leather buffed out beautifully. The craftsmanship and construction is on par with the quality of the leather. As it was my first purchase from Ashland I received a 10% discount on top of the already discounted price. In 1880 English textile designer William Morris famously declared to his Birmingham audience: “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” This wallet is both. James Detroit/Dublin”

“Class act companies like Ashland are able to have the focus to make the best products available. I was a bit reluctant to spring for a product that I hadn’t had an opportunity to examine and evaluate the quality. This is now the second product I have received and again I am impressed. “First class as usual i bought a irregular fat herbie which was basically perfect besides a pin sized indent on the outside! For a hundred dollars off that is a bargain and a half. They could of gotten away with sending that as top quality but ashland is top tier!”

“Wallet is a simple design but everything I was looking for. I really enjoy how it doesn’t have an ID window with cheap plastic that tends to get stuck as well as just the single bill compartment. Leatherwork is solid, hope this wallet stands up to years of work. Pleased so far.”

“After watching your podcast and learning about Ashland, I decided it was time to get a wallet to replace my worn out Coach hipster wallet. Since it would likely be with me more than ten years, it had to be nice. Really nice. And I was willing to shrink my pocket inventory a bit, so a smaller wallet than I've been carrying would be perfect. When I saw the Color 4 Shell Cordovan Johnny the Fox, I knew that I had to have it. My new wallet arrived very quickly and was even nicer than the pictures! It's a work of art. But, the one thing the pictures don't (yet) capture is the smell - it's amazing. Is it worth the price? To me, yes. If I lost it tomorrow, I'd buy another - hopefully as nice as this one. Thanks for a great product that (hopefully) wil last a lifetime.”
