“The wallet is clearly well made with high quality materials and hardware. In terms of design, the wallet is always one size. No matter how much or how little is in the wallet it's always the same size. If you only carry a few cards this wallet might be a bit much.”

“I like it overall - the buckle appears darker in person than the photos - I was hoping for a warm bronze it’s closer to a dark gray. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the belt.”

“Their products are excellent. I have two of their wallets. Just gave one to my son as a gift. My only complaint l, which knocks them down to 4-star is that Customer Service is not reachable by phone. You have to wait 2-4 days for a replay. I just went through that, which resulted in me not getting what I really wanted because it showed as “Sold Out.” The day after I ordered, it was back. I contacted them, and they said “Gee, if you would have only contacted us first.” Since the item I bought was monogrammed, I can’t return it. Nonsense on their process. If you have a business and a website, then have a phone number and a person who answers it. I was ready to order when I ready to order. Will this keep me from buying from them? I don’t know. I measure a company by their customer service. That is why Amazon is great and Jeff Bezos has a $750 million yacht.”

“Happy with the wallet. Made a small modification to the top flay which was extended by 5 mm. I cut that section off to make the wallets portions match. Other than happy so far.”

“Tried a b-grade Lucky wallet and it has won me over. I've been trying multiple brands and styles recently, slim profile, American made. The only quality that I appreciate on other brands is a more prominent hand-stiching. Otherwise, the Lucky checks all the boxes for me, unique style, low profile, and quality leather. Looking forward to see how this looks after its broken in. I just placed an order for another custom Lucky.”

“I just received the Small Zip Wallet. I really like the features and quality of materials. I had hoped it would be thinner. It is obvious when being carried in your front pants pocket. I am coming from a low-profile wallet. If I were to redesign it, I would remove the zipper (and "coin" pocket), replace it with a center snap closure, and reduce the material at the apex of the fold so that it would lay flatter. Overall, I am pleased with it and will keep it.”

“I ended up returning the wallet, but the experience was overall a positive. Customer service was very responsive, and especially patient with me. The wallet I ordered was a one off “cigar” shell cordovan, with a cxl waxed flesh interior. I wanted it specifically because it was a one off, the practical benefits of a waxed flesh interior over the standard latigo or shell, and the rare shell color. The reason Inreturned it is that I believe the shell actually was color 8. It looked like color 8. It was quite burgundy in the light, the edges were a very bright burgundy, and there was red staining on the reverse. My ideal wallet would be a rare shell exterior, like cigar, but even more ideal would be a whiskey or bourbon, and a horsehide cxl waxed flesh interior. The only issue that caused the return was that I believe the color was mislabeled, and what I got was not as unique a color as what it was listed as.”

“Review of Ashland Leather Bugs Moran Wallet: Great quality but inconvenient with a little bill compartment. Best as a secondary wallet for light carry. B-Grade Valet Tray: Smaller than expected. Not enough space to fit multiple sets of keys (2 car keys + 2 house keys) comfortably. Coaster Grab Bag: My specific requests were ignored. I received a few pieces of heavy grain instead of the requested smooth, light-colored leathers (Natural/Tan). thank you to the team for the lightning-fast shipping and for effectively managing the declared value, which significantly helped reduce the import tax. “I ordered both the One Shot Card Case and the Johnny the Fox bifold in Horween Dublin leather in English Tan. I plan to use them as a complementary, minimalist carry system: storing the One Shot Card Case in the Johnny the Fox bifold when I need all my cards, and carrying only the One Shot Card Case when I just need my driver’s license and one credit card. Overall, the craftsmanship and leather quality meet my high expectations for Ashland Leather, and I am happy with the purchase. That said, I am disappointed with the color consistency between the two items, which is noticeably off. Despite ordering both in English Tan, the Johnny the Fox arrived significantly darker than the One Shot Card Case, almost as if it had already begun to age. I understand that natural leather varies and develops patina over time, but I expected two items ordered together in the same leather and color to be much closer in appearance. Individually, both pieces are well-made and use excellent leather. As a matched set, though, the color mismatch detracts from the experience and was unexpected at this price point.”
