“Six of the eight were great! Thick full-grained leather, but two were just the thin top-grain. Its fine, but not the best.”

“Great smell. Great design. Dublin is smoother than expected. Thought it would have a more tactile grain texture; instead, it has a luxurious buttery smooth touch. Mine came with a scratch/crease that wraps all the way around the wallet, but I expect it won’t matter after five years of wear. The zipper is sturdy and attractive. I do wish it had less ‘bite’ when pulling, as I prefer that super smooth feel, especially when I am pulling a zipper the length of the wallet.”

“The items all arrived in pretty good condition. The wallets of course are exceptional. Only, I ended up dealing with some unexpected problems in our local customs office. On several instances the packages were missing vital shipping info(like the invoice #; listed items, etc.). Other than that, everything else seems fine.”

“I ordered a custom Tony the Ant made with timber Chromexcel and configured with vertical card slots. The leather's color is gorgeous. It's a deep, rich brown that resembles color #8. The wallet has a refined yet rugged look, which complements the Chromexcel leather well. As you can expect with the Ashland brand, the leather's cuts are clean, and the weight is perfect for the wallet: It's thick enough that you don't feel it's cheap and at risk of tearing, but thin enough that the wallet is not too bulky in the front pocket (although the Tony is no minimalist wallet). The vertical arrangement of the pockets gives me more space than I know what to do with, which is exactly what I was wanting. All that said, this isn't actually the wallet that I asked for over email. But I immediately took a liking to the one that I got and can honestly say I'm perfectly satisfied with the newest addition to my collection. The good folks at Ashland offered to let me return it free of charge and try again to get my order right, but I turned the offer down so I could keep all the CXL goodness that I did get. The Ashland brand is as good as their leather craftsmanship, so even on the off chance that something goes wrong, you're in good hands.”

“The watch strap and the NATO strap are beautiful! My only comment would be that the lighter sheath didn’t have properly finished edges, where the leather is almost coming apart. I don’t mind it, I’m sure it will add to the patina in the future. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase, and will definitely be looking out for more! Thank you Phil and Matt”

“Initially (out of the box), I gave this wallet 5/5, but after putting it altogether and using it I had to deduct a star for card slot construction. The two most interior slots are thinner than any other Ashland wallet I own in shell, and their edges have become "floppy" which may not result in a functional loss but aesthetically is distracting. Overall, I'd still buy Ashland products and this is still a beautiful wallet.”

“It was a custom-made Fat Herbie. The stitches are loose in one area. And, although the top shell is very nice, it is different from the one offered originally, so I was a bit disappointed.”

“Every product was absolutely lovely! The one slight issue, which isn’t really an issue just more attention to detail, is that the belt had slightly poor finishing toward the edge where it meets the buckle. The leather seems to haven’t been cut properly so there’s some excess strands sticking out. Other than that, I love how comfortable it is!”

“Great company, love their Youtube Videos. Products looks to be top notch. Only reason for 4 stars is because I have sent an inquiry email to them which was never replied to. I've also initially received an invalid tracking # which was corrected a few days later. But on the flip side, they did reach out to me to ask which carrier I would like to use for shipping as different carriers have pros and cons. That was a nice touch. International shipping is a bit pricy at $40. But overall, I recommend Ashland leather.”
