“There is a few flaws, and had a few scratches when I received it. But I am being super critical of something I am going to beat up and sit on. A softer leather on the outside and a contrasting stitch color is what I am really wanting. Overall I am very happy to have a quality wallet for the first time. Thank you so much, I love it.”

“The Capone Money Clip wallet is a great front pocket carry. The materials and craftsmanship are top-notch for sure. I gave it four stars because the interior pockets are really difficult to access. I think it would be more user-friendly if the interior card slots faced out instead of toward the clip or maybe they could be vertical pockets instead of horizontal. Just my experience and thoughts.”

“The wallet is great........good quality for a decent price.........and received in a timely manner. The problem was I didn't pay attention to the ridiculous charges because this company is in Chicago. It is one thing to have a sales tax.......but to have a state, county and Chicago municipal tax is representative of how sorry this state is. Sadly had I paid attention I would not have made this purchase.”

“You'll either love or hate this design, because there's nothing to keep either your cards or your cash in place when you open up the wallet. So if you drop your wallet, all your cards are likely to spill out. This is what gives it the capacity to hold a lot of both, but it's also what makes using the wallet very manual. The best way I've found to get cash, for example, is to open the wallet sideways, grab the bill you want with one hand, and then use your other hand to hold the rest in place while you pull them out. If the bills aren't beside each other, you'll have to take them out one at a time. This means the wallet is a card wallet. However, getting into your cards also isn't as optimized as it is with most other wallets. You can only hold the wallet loosely to let your fingers be able to get into the cards (not squeeze it to open it more), and then the wallet opens up far less than you'd expect. This is not much of an issue, though. By arranging your cards smartly, you can still comfortably access your four most used ones. In summary, this wallet is for people who primarily use cards but nonetheless don't wish to fold their bills. I'm one such person, so I actually grew to rather like this wallet in the days I've been using it, despite its inconveniences. There's no other wallet which functions like this one in my collection, for better and for worse. It's unfortunately a little too simple, hence why I cannot recommend it for most people despite liking it myself. That being said, if you are a collector like I am, I think this is something worth adding to your collection.”

“Only two concerns about the product, but I'm very happy with the initial quality otherwise. 1) The exposed cash pocket lip isn't rounded (as delivered) so it doesn't slide well into/out of your pants pocket. I assume this will wear-in though. 2) There is no option for a hidden logo/small logo/no logo. The stamp is way too prominent. THis can be seen online, but almost cost the sale. Requests: 1) the logo... see above 2) Presale: I would have liked to have seen a broken-in version or worn leather sample of some of the wallets- I'm thinking about the leathers that get a decent amount of patina quickly or see lots of pull-up. I was thinking about where's the corner going to bend, how flat is the fold going to sit, and how much character it would show.”

“Dear Phil I am Fatin Cezayirli from Turkey I love the items ( baseball and two Franks) you sent me and they were just in time. The leathers are perfect but I wonder if they would be better if they were from private stock The Franks' card holder is a little tight. I sent you a picture of Makr's wallet which is less than an inch smaller. But items fit better. Your leather is much better. The stitching in baseball is a little disappointing. I will send the picture to tell you why I said that. But overall I am very pleased. What I ask now is another baseball color 8 and a mininalist wallet like i sent you so that I would touch the beautiful leather all the time”

“Overall the frank is a great minimalistic wallet with high quality leather. But for the price of $150 I'm going to be slightly nit picky. On the side with one pocket, the thread on the right and left has part of it sticking up which you can feel when holding the wallet. Whenever I'm bored and start fidgeting with my wallet, it is definitely noticeable. Again this is me nit picking and it is still overall a great wallet.”

“I’ve had the fat hetbie for about a week and it is be along in very nicely. The color has darkened a bit and it has become smoother. The one thing I don’t like is how there is a very small inconsistent stitch in the top left of the pocket area but other than that it is a great wallet”

The personalization letters are not that visible. The exposed teal leather part is darker (not sure if stained) vs. hidden teal leather part giving impression the wallet needs cleaning.”

“A man's wallet for sure. I purchased the Johnny the Fox in black dublin leather. I also have one in black cordovan (and Color Nos. 4 and 8 in shell as well). While the cordovan shell wallets are beautiful, the black dublin is on par with them and is softer. It's just a simple, well-made wallet, with quality leather. No bells or whistles; nothing unnecessarily fancy about it, at a fair price. It might be favorite (although I'm also partial to the color no. 4.) I give 4 instead of 5 stars because occasionally the workmanship can be inconsistent, but this may be more of a testament to the fact that each item is individually handmade (except stitching I imagine), and there may be slight differences. However, they stand behind their products, will make sure you're satisfied, and do quality control and put the irregulars (and identified as such) on sale.”
