“This one-off Bugs Moran is a really awesome wallet. Of course the quality is top-notch and Ashland is frequently releasing amazing versions. I gave 4 stars because the only thing I'm not entirely impressed with is the stitching. The thread looks thin and I wish it were more substantial. However, I know Ashland has a policy to repair any issues that may arise, so that's reassuring. I'm general, they're great and I'd buy another wallet from them.”

“Beautiful leather and craftsmanship. Insertion and extraction of credit and other cards is difficult due to slot widths. Another 1/8” in slot widths ( and wallet width) might make a big difference. My only criticism.”

“I ordered the full shell cordovan billfold wallet which was of great quality .. the only thing I would say is to please fix the listing as when you select color 8, the first image is of a black wallet..I actually wanted the black one but ended up with a burgundy one… customer service was extremely quick to reply and also offered me a fair solution but I have decided to keep it as I don’t want to spend more paying to return it back to the US. On the whole I would say the purchase was still a good experience and am happy with the overall product.”

“Pretty great. A little pricey for the level of quality but very happy and the perfect layout. The Fat Herbie is perfect for back pocket jeans and for chest of a suit. Anted it to replace a cordovan when I lost a custom wallet but settled for the western tab Dublin because the cordovan was double what you can get custom on Etsy. Shipped super fast and over very happy. I will definitely get a cordovan version in the future but this was a good temp since I had nothing when I lost my last wallet.”

“High quality leather, well sewn, in general no complaints – well, one small one. The billfold is almost exactly the length of a dollar bill... so it is not easy to get bills in and out.”

“I think the wallets are super nice (I got fat herbie, frank, vertical and normal bug Moran). However, there was a delay in shipping. The cordovan is amazing. However, practicality wise I think fat herbie is supposed to be a thin wallet but with 3 layers of thick cordovan it ends up almost the same thickness as my regular wallet. Next time I probably go with cordovan on external layer only.”

“I purchased a wallet in Reverse Black Cordovan. It arrived beautifully packaged, with a wonderful "new leather" smell. The wallet it beautifully made--slightly larger and more rugged than then Allen Edmonds cordovan wallet it replaced. The only drawback is the colour. I realize that shell varies in colour, but all the pictures of Reverse Black show it as a distinctively green colour, with clear Horween stamping--the colour I was after. My wallet was black, with only a slight green tinge--this made the Horween stamp rather hard to see. Bottom line: The Reverse Black items might not be the beautiful green you see online!”

“Great quality wallet only wish the money clip had a little more tension it keeps getting loose and I have to push down to tighten it or remove it and twist to tighten but overall I recommend the Capone wallet.”
