“I ordered the Johnny the Fox in Cordovan. The exterior was exquisite. The interior was unfortunately not of uniform colors. My wife was not pleased with the quality. Although there are variations in natural leather colors, this was a variation that probably should not have been identified as first quality. I have made arrangements to exchange it for a first quality one. The response was quick, but it is currently out of stock. I have sent back the first one. Will await the new one.”

“Phil, I am using your key chain for one to two keys. It rattles quite a lot, and one of the reasons I bougth your product was to have a small, noiseless key chain that also protected the pockets from damage. I have modified your design by adding small o-rings. I would suggest that you ship the unit with a shorter stud, or with o-rings . Olav”

“This is my forth purchase from you.Not sure why this shell cordovan won’t take a shine.It’s just flat black.No problem with the others I have but not this wallet.I know it’s new but won’t shine up.Ive tried the Venetian shoe cream too.”

Thank you for your review. Sometimes adding too much polish/cream can have an adverse effect. I believe this is what's happening here. Keep in mind the leather is new and doesn't need more cream. We have already polished the leather prior to shipping. I suggest wearing the wallet and the friction from your pockets will help to polish it naturally giving it a nice glossy luster overtime. “I like the wallet. But it gets two stars docked. The first one is because they forgot to stamp my initials. The other is for a minor quality issues that I noticed, but for a wallet this price I think I should be able to expect that these things would be checked before it gets sent out. Unfortunately i have been unable to get any pictures to upload but here is the quality issue i had. It came with this weird little dot that does not look like natural character like a bug bite. It looks more like an issue in the tanning/finishing of the leather. I tried to scratch at it a bit and its not some kind of goober on top of the finish, its more like the finish is somehow missing. Its a little rough spot that looks different.”

“I received the product I requested in a timely manor. However, I did not request expedited shipping but I got charged for. :( Not certain how that could have happened, that's something I never do. Maybe it was a default in the Shipping process and I didn't catch it. Most importantly however, I truly love Ashland's products, my favorite wallet is in my pocket "as I speak", a Whiskey, Shell Cordovan, Fat Herbie! 👍 Lawrence”

“Quite disappointed with the main part of this order. I was refunded the personalization cost for the wallet with no explanation. The purpose of the order was to replace my boyfriends current leather wallet with one that had his initials. This is a birthday present and now I have to scramble to find something else (after already spending a lot on this) because there is no point in gifting a new wallet without the initials, as it's almost identical to his current wallet. Completely ruined the entire point of the gift with zero explanation from the company as to why they couldn't personalize it. The comb and key holder were nice, but overall, pretty upset and likely will not be a repeat customer or recommend. I'd highly suggest reaching out to customers to explain the reason for not fulfilling paid personalizations instead of just refunding. It felt very careless and lazy on ashlands part. I'm now stuck with a random wallet that won't be used. I would gladly ship the wallet back in its original packaging if I could be refunded the cost of the wallet.”

“I ordered for a Wallet Johnny the Fox (personalised) and a Belt (Horween Leather Belt) as a gift for my friend on his 65th birthday. The Wallet was delivered on time but the Belt is was not delivered. When I wrote to your support, I got a reply stating that it was missed out by oversight and it was shipped yesterday and it is expected to arrive today but the surprise element went for a toss since I had to tell him that 2 items were ordered and only one got delivered. Moreover he left for a short vacation this morning. Now he will see it only when he arrives. I hope your team is more careful when shipping out orders. I had to order a separate gift basket with a wine bottle to make his day.”

“I purchased the private stock lucky wallet. It has a western theme. I was dissatisfied yes because it looks a little worn and inconsistent on the dye. Moreover the stitching looks like it may comprise in short time. I liked my Capone money clip better.”
