“Hi. It was excellent. I got it to learn about Cordovan. I have some questions too. Color #8 was exactly what I expected & I like it. It immediately got some spots on it from water. Can I buy some cleaner from you? I think I learned I would not like shoes made from #8 Cordovan due to this issue but I am still deciding. It seems to get a lot of scratches and marks. Still, I love it. It’s not a complaint, just an observation. The exterior seemed to be more like natural Cordovan rather than raw, but I really don’t know as this is my first time seeing Cordovan. I might like shoes made of raw Cordovan if the patina develops as expected. The quality of the craftsmanship is superb and exactly what I expected. Thanks fir an excellent product. I will likely get a Frank the Enforcer after I consider more color options, perhaps made of CXL. Meanwhile, what product can I use to clean and treat my current Fat Herbie which is made of Cordovan #8 and raw or natural Cordovan? I will but it from you. Thanks for the excellent craftsmanship & help. I tried to click excellent but I am not sure it registered. Herbert”

“Man, what can I say that hasn’t been said about Ashland Leather! I got a reverse black shell Johnny the Fox wallet and it is amazing. Matt, who was super helpful and punctual also sent me over photos of what was on hand so I got to select the exact wallet I wanted. “Recently purchased a Tony the Ant in #8 shell Cordovan, as a gift for a friend’s 30th birthday. His old wallet was beyond repair and in serious need of replacing. While I can’t comment on how it feels or carries in the pocket, I did take a quick peek inside the box before gifting it to my friend. (I mean, can you blame me?). His new wallet will easily last him Another 30 years and more. The color #8 shell Cordovan is absolutely stunning, and put on full display by the wallet’s beautiful craftsmanship. The customer service from Ashland is also top notch. Phil was very quick to respond in correcting a mistake (totally my fault) before the wallet shipped out, which arrived faster than expected. Without a doubt, the next time I review an Ashland wallet, it will be as an owner.”
