He was excited to finally have a new one and to know that if it ever falls apart, it can be repaired so he won't have to worry about getting a new one! “I have a full sized wallet from Ashland. The leather is great and it seems durable. My son needed a wallet, so I bought a smaller one with two cards per side. It is also well made. We have not had these long enough to say much about durability; I usually like to get 10y out of a wallet and these seem like they will go the distance. I would like some metal corners like the old Cartier wallet I had as a kid, because they keep the corners from fraying. But this wallet was also not $600. In any event, so far we are both happy and would buy again. I like the laser engraved option, but would prefer that it be tooled into the leather, because the lasering seems to cut into the surface a bit and I wonder how that will hold up long term. So that and metal crimp-on corners are my only suggestions for possible improvement, so far. I changed the number but you can see the lasering and a corner after a few months of use.”
