“The hotel was very good. We had a lovely quiet room which was a very good size and comfortable. The bathroom also was a good size with lovely towels and very clean. The only slight problem I found was the bathroom fan which kept stopping and starting. The breakfast was excellent with a lovely choice of foodstuffs. We were staying to go to a wedding and it made a really memorable weekend.”
“The hotel is excellently situated just off the A1(M) so very easy to get to. Our room was spotlessly clean and a very good size with a very large bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in all departments and the restaurant food was of a very good standard. We visited on an oustanding 'deal' that included B&B plus 1 dinner and also tickets to Beamish museum.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit to this hotel.”
“A very warm welcome at the Reception desk set the high standard of what we experienced during our short but exceptionally pleasant stay at the Aston Hotel set in the beautiful grounds of the Crichton estate.
Our room was superbly furnished and immaculately clean. The en suite was in pristine condition and the very spacious shower cubicle was a gem.
The welcoming bottle of Bubbly was thoroughly enjoyed Cheers!!
The Menu choice in the restraint was excellent as was the Scottish breakfast selection.

We got a taxi into the centre of sheffield for the day which only cost £8 and saved on parking tickets and the pressure of finding somewhere to park in the centre. would stay again in the future if we had the opportunity.”
