“The product was advertised as being made of "real leather," Which is faux leather, the stools have started to rip on the arms after just 1-2 months of use”

“The journey that commenced as a hopeful investment opportunity took a sharp turn towards devastation, resulting in a loss of $97,100. Discovering that I had fallen victim to a scam left me grappling with a mix of emotions - embarrassment, anger, and a sense of uncertainty regarding my next course of action. “Customer service absolutely atrocious. Bought two bar stools and one has started to split after a couple of weeks.. They were not interested in solving my problem and ignored my emails. Customers be aware before you purchase from this company.”

“Faulty chairs, Bad service! Absolutely shocking, we have only had these chairs 2 months and have had light use, buttons are coming off and the fabric away from the chair where the buttons keep the fabric pushed in. 6 chairs and 3 are already faulty. Customer service said they would only replace the one. Not good enough, so now we are getting in touch with trading standards and leaving reviews here, trustpilot and anywhere so people don’t get ripped off with really poor quality chairs. We will Ask for a full refund on all chairs, or a complete replacement off different style of chairs! Hopefully trading standards will investigate this lack off responsibility to take the chairs back and replace as they are faulty! Look shocking!”

“I asked for a swatch to ensure the colour match of the stools I was ordering was good. I was told swatches aren't available, but assured that the colour displayed on the website was an accurate reflection. This is a blatant disregard for actual facts. The online image shows light grey, the actual chairs are a taupe-grey. As I no longer have the original packaging (but was happy to buy/take replacements and re-package the mis-sold ones in these boxes) Atlantic Shopping are unwilling to help, despite my purchase being directly based by the information provided by them. Clearly there is something amiss, perhaps the staff are trained to say anything to get an order? I would strongly recommend any potential buyers look elsewhere as they have no morals when it comes to rectifying the mis-representation by one of their team”

“I purchased 4 dining chairs. They arrived in two separate boxes. I opened the first box and put together one chair. It was very poor quality and the wooden legs were damaged. The other chair was the same. I didn’t open the other box as I needed four. I returned the chairs for a refund. A few days later I noticed that the refund was for less than I paid.After complaining I was told that they had deducted return costs for the unopened box as it was not damaged. Luckily I spotted it or they would have got away with it. They really expected me to keep two awful chairs when the other two were faulty ! After a complaint I received the extra £10 back. I wonder how many people have not realised and ended up losing out. I would not use this company again as they appear to be dishonest.”

“Appalling rubbish goods that are substandard I ordered 4 x chairs that arrived absolutely battered. Definitely been out to another customer even though the call handler denied it. Sent them straight back. Received a refund today minus the postage - £20. When I contacted them again Atlantic said upon examination the chairs are not damaged that's the finish of the product and once its assembled you wouldn't see all the shoddy workmanship. No but I would know it was there!! In my opinion stay well clear of the company and its cheap jack goods. Oh and by the way I have plenty of photos to back my claim up.”

“We ordered 2no stools from Atlantic Shopping and they arrived both scratched and the backs of the chairs are different colours!!! Customer service awful!! If I could put zero star rating I would!!!”

“Brought stools delivery time was 6 weeks.... 4 stools arived .... now i decided to order x2 more ordered and paid.... she get monday and then get an email saying expected delivery 5 june 2021....... anyone else had this”

“In 2010 i bought 8 chairs costing over £1000 when they arrived the quality for price was poor so asked to return Told I had to pay per chair to return which worked out a lot so kept the chairs. Since I’ve now found out the fabric water stains and can’t be cleaned I’ve had 5 professional cleaning companies All say the fabric should but if been used and if so warnings not to get water on in devastated I can’t afford to replace these chairs. I’ve called to see if anything can be done but no hemp was offered.”

“Bought three Polaris kitchen stools. Absolute rubbish ! the hydraulic stems have failed leaving a black carbon type of blackness on the tiles and the fake plastic leather has cracked and peeled. Chinese rubbish.”

“Poor quality the stool has not been finished there are several missing studs and the filling is visible. How do this stool get to the customer in this state?? Even worse was the customer service who refuse to replace on Saturday service unless I pay extra..hmmmm”

“Ontario bar stools. Bought four three months ago and the quality of the stools are very poor, you can see the wood under the leather as there is not enough padding on the armrests. Contacted Atlantic and said all four stools now have cuts on the end of the armrests but just kept saying they we had damaged them. I put a review on their website to highlight the issues of these stools but it has not been published ,very concerning for buyers reading only good reviews and no bad reviews . I will be taking this further”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I would not give this company a one star but I had to chose one to enable me to write a review. The stools I ordered after less than 7 months exposed a bent over nail at the bottom of the leg and has damaged my brand new floor. The scratches have ruined a brand new floor. The company have said that because this did not happen straight away, it is not their concern. The shoddy workmanship is not enough for them to admit that they are to blame for my floor and say that they cannot do anything more than send out a new pair of legs. I am devastated and will never buy from this company again.”

“The quality of the Zizi stools was dreadful. Poor weld, scratched and dented. They then charged me £20 for returning them which I am currently disputing. EVERY stool was very poorly finished and had faults. Appalling quality.”

“Avoid this Co. Placed an order for two different fabric stools so that we could decide which fabric we wanted for a further order of another four stools. I then received an email requesting I call them. I promptly called Atlantic Shopping & was informed they did not want my order becuase at least one of the stools would be returned. How else can one decide which fabric stool is preferred? Business must be good!!!! My money has been refunded. Never ever again............waste of time!”

“Ordered 6 dinning chairs Very bed fitting like a toy. Very polite staff ,however Extremely unhelpful with no common sense ,Received chairs With damaged floor protector and few of the floor protector started falling off after few days, making chairs un steady. My 12 years daughter has fallen of as a result. Issue could have resolved by apologising and sending floor protectors . Did not gave any complaints procedure keep on insisting that it will be on the note.”
