I would have given 5 stars but I had to wait 3 weeks to replace my windscreen (that is my only gripe) apart from the delay I can't fault the service I received, they came to my work which is literally in the middle of nowhere, the fitter was a specially trained Audi technician & due to his experience he made the job look easy! From the first phone call to the technician leaving everybody I dealt with was polite & cheerful (even when I got grumpy about the delay). I am happy to recommended Auto Windscreens & would definitely use them again (hopefully not to soon!!)

Bit disappointed that on the first visit they brought the wrong screen! However the guy was very apologetic and a week later they brought the correct screen. This was fitted with the minimum of fuss. The interior of the car was left very clean. Good job and pleasant guy who carried out the fitting.

Despite having a few cancelled appointments due to weather, wrong windscreen, etc. the service from the engineer who finally fitted my windscreen was very good.

We had to wait two weeks for an appointment and then he turned up with the wrong windscreen. I am a member of the RAC and have insurance with them. They had to ring up on my behalf before I got a quicker second appointment. However the guy that turned up the second time had the right windscreen and was competent, helpful and pleasant. The windscreen is still attached to the car so all turned out ok

The work was done efficiently and professionally. I believe recruitment more staff would satisy your customers getting an early repair date. As TCS where due to have two vehcile repaired today but the windown screen had not arrived for the other vehicle. We are booked in again for Wednesday, We generally have to wait 14days for a repair. Very happy the work is always done to a high standard.

When I phoned to report a crack on my windscreen and arrange a replacement, the man on the phone was efficient and booked me in for a repair. However, it was for 10 days ahead. I felt this was too long, but he just said that was the first available slot. He didn't give any other options. I decided to see if another provider could do it faster. In driving to the industrial estate I spotted Auto Windscreens. So I called in and asked if there was a possibility of fixing my windscreen more quickly. The very helpful man booked me in for three days later - but at the industrial estate. He was also very reassuring and explained that the windscreen wouldn't shatter or fall out, as I was nervous of driving with a big crack on it! So I had to take my car to him to be fixed, but it was done quickly, efficiently, and without any problems at all. I had somewhere to wait and I was even offered a coffee. I would have put a very good rating if the operator had been able to offer me the option of taking my car into the centre, as the technician was very good!

Very good efficient job done by Ben Longbottom job 1816518, only problem was we were told it would be after 2.30pm as my husband does'nt finish work until 2.pm, which they changed to earlier which resulted in my husband having to leave work at 1pm losing an hours pay.

Originally they ordered the wrong windscreen so the man had to come back with the correct one a few days later. The technician was friendly, thorough and very quick with his work. Overall I was very impressed with the service?

It was easy to book a time for the window to be replaced. The gentleman who was doing the job phoned me several times to say when he would be with me and when the job was done. Good service

Very happy with service, all staff helpful & polite. The guy who came to do the work was really professional & friendly - he actually advised me not to have a complete window exchange but to just have the chip repaired, which he did to a good standard. Still a little mark there but he explained that before he started. My only problem is that I paid £75 excess on my M&S policy for windscreen replacement & the guy who came said someone would email me soon regarding the new excess (if any) that would be payable for a chip repair. No one has emailed me so far, I have only had an invoice stating the £75 payable. Would like to know asap as I will have to contact M&S insurance to query the amount. Gill Ball

Auto windscreens had not ordered all of the parts. My understanding was that they never order an many rubbers as they should do because they usually get some left over from other jobs and it saves them money. However, I have a rarer car (Toyota IQ) and the gentleman that came to replace my windscreen could not do the job because he the right parts had not been ordered. He was absolutely fantastic (wish I could remember his name!) and phoned many of his colleagues before finding the part he needed, driving 40mins to fetch it and finishing the job on the day it was booked. Poor service from auto windscreens who text me the wrong date and time initially so I had to re-schedule... again! AND didn't order all the parts id paid for. Fantastic fitting staff who saved the day and made it a more positive experience.

Service obisimal initially. But a fitter went out of his way to fit this in the dark on a Saturday after he had finished work as I had been let down three times previously. He has redeemed it for them and should be recognised for his commendable attitude towards customers. Really can't thank him enough! As for the rest of the system! Needs improving ????

very good, the engineer who replaced the Screen, took as much care as he could. However since the Wiper arm was broken, I'm only giving an overall of Good. Hopefully the insurance will pick up the change to replace the arm.

Friendly helpful windscreen fitter, rang each time to confirm arrival time. Good quality work. However the first appointment (I had to wait around 10 days for it, contrary to what the web app told me) the fitter was given the wrong glass, even though the call handler had my reg no (and therefore should have known the spec).
