Lengthy wait Installation fine Cut dash cam cable these things happen but would have been good to be told Problem was sorted. eventually Would have been easier had I not got Halfords involved my mistake That’s life

They are my insurers preferred option, i found their booking procedures satisfactory and they notified me the day before with my appointment time,as they said they would. I was greeted by a fitter on arrival, I asked could I see the new screen,he said "why" well I replied "because I've paid for it and I wish to make sure it's a vehicle manufacturer windscreen", normal I would have thought for someone having a screen fitted to a relitivly newish car, but obviously not. I then said "where would you like me to park my car for you to work on, would you like me to park it in here where you have the new screen" he said "no you're not allowed because you're not insured to move the car on our property" well I thought I think you will find I am , I've just driven it here and I have a full policy. Anyway fair enough I didn't want to make a fuss, so I said how are you going to get the car in here he replied " I'll drive it in" I thought I don't want to be awkward but I asked "are you insured to drive my car " my loved and cherished car. I thought a reasonable request. He said " of "course we are" this reply was then echoed by a colleague walking past whose tone of voice towards me made me feel awkward and a nuisance. So I just said don't talk to me like that I'm a customer I'm just asking reasonable questions. Anyway the work was carried out satisfactory in the end , so that's good!! But I don't understand where has good old fashioned politeness gone, you would have thought I was some youth turning up at some club with all this alpha male ego stuff floating around.

I had Jeff come to me to replace my van window I would like to say he was very professional,smart and knowledgeable he rang me to say he was on his way in about 50 mins to which he was he turned up being very courteous and polite he did the job without any fuss and wouldn't leave until I was satisfied with what he done so I would give him 10 out 10 Thanks Jeff. Booked a windscreen replacement, was told it would be in 8 days time, I would lose my place if they did a search for an earlier date. Went back to Insurance company gave another screen company got it done next day....brilliant. Made a call to Auto Windscreens to cancel the booking, kept me on hold for 12.5 minutes...gave up, tried again 10 minutes later....5 minutes wait so gave up....if you read these REF was 8637785. Cancel it please

Glass not in stock so although told we would be likely to get the window fixed the day it was reported, the job was not completed until 2 days later. Disappointed that it took so long. The fitter was good and job completed well when he got to us.

The initial job was going to take 3 weeks to replace our windscreen, however due to an administrative error the wrong windscreen was ordered!! We had to wait another 3 weeks for the job to be completed. The fitters who came out to fit the windscreen on both occasions were first rate, but it would seem that they and us were let down by the inefficiencies of your systems!!!!

I was very disappointed to the length of time to get an appointment for a replacement windscreen - 1 week! I was without a car for 1 week. If the damage was my fault, I would have been more understanding, but I had been hit by criminal damage and had to fork out a small fortune under extremely stressful circumstances.

The fitting service itself was excellent but on ringing up to enquire when the fitter would arrive the response was "any time today up to 5 pm". I had been given a time of 9 until 1pm and as it turned out the fitter arrived shortly after I rang (at 10.15). Surely it should be possible to give some idea of roughly when the fitter will arrive. Other service companies seem to manage it.

Very prompt! My front passenger window was replaced within 48 hours! I'm disappointed that it was not replaced with genuine Nissan glass even though I was told that this would be the case on the phone. My window is also noisy and much slower when putting it up and down which is very irritating in a car that is only 6 months old. But thank you for being so prompt and ensuring that my car was secure.

New front screen fitted OK ...apart from damage to scuttle panel and unknown to me a new (not as good as OEM) rear view mirror was also fitted. Both of these issues unfortunately were not noticed until after the fitter had departed (my fault!). I was expecting a bill of £60 excess + VAT (total £72) to be paid - this turned into a £100 payment that included £40 VAT that had to be added for the whole job apparently? Sadly this lack of customer information and service seems to be the 'norm' these days!

First class communication and workmanship. unfortunately the windscreen supplied does not fit and the technician said he will have to return and do it again. great care was taken on every aspect of the job and i would recommend the fitter anytime.

your man turned up on the time he said he would, and got straight on with job. and only took a around 30 minutes to do . so thanks
