Ordered a garden table oine to click and collect.Website said they were in stock,so I paid and went on a bus trip which took me a hour, only to be told they were out of stock and that I should have waited for a confirmation email to let me know. My money is now locked in a pending account in my bank. What a stupid system that tells you something is in stock, when it isn't and your money is lying in a pending account. Will never shop click and collect with B and Q again.

I attended b & q at Newcraighall Edinburgh and wanted to exchange a product but as a voucher had been used to purchase the product I was only getting a refund minus the voucher so when I queried this manager Megan had to help Morgan who had been extremely helpful … Megan was not listening to my concerns and became quite nippy and argumentative with me and was not explaining the bill refund procedure clearly. I tried to point out I was losing my £3 voucher but she was very flippant and unhelpful telling Morgan just refund her !! Very poor customer service from Megan !! I would like to highlight that Morgan the young girl at the till was very polite and helpful at all times . What happened to the customer is always right ! Especially as recently we have spent several hundreds at b & q hermiston …. I will avoid the newcraighall store in future

Went to buy a steamer and iron that was advertised on line as in stock. Arrived at local store to told not only did they not have one but there was none to be obtained from any of their branches nationwide. Got home to find that they were still in stock on line. What a bunch of time wasting amateurs!

Awful!! Shed ordered with installation. Given date of 8 weeks. Shed delivered but no installation and have spent longer trying to contact them that it would take to build the shed. Customer service is non existent and potential date means shed will have been sat in my garden over 2 months.... Don't know what happened to a previously good company but they're a complete shambles

Kitchen delivery was not delivered on date they said and with no phone call why it wasn't delivered. This started a merry go round in customer services and no one helped even though my problem was escalated 3 times I had to contact delivery company myself for delivery This outfit reminds me of a cheap backstreet suppliers. Very poor treatment of a good customer. There customer service is rubbish

B&Q does not care about disabled people. I ordered a kitchen from B&Q to be delivered. I was told when ordering as i am disabled the delivery drivers would deliver the products into my bungalow. the day of the delivery the driver was rude and said that he doesn't care how disabled i am he won't bring the kitchen into the bungalow. i have to take it in myself. He could see i am disabled but didn't care and was very rude. Contacting B&Q they just kept stating it is kerb side only, even though i was told they would bring it in. Basically if you are disabled and unable to carry the heavy kitchen parts in yourself, they won't help you. They take your money and then don't care, basically B&Q doesn't care about the disabled.

I was not bought a packet of sweet pea seeds and planted these, along with seeds from other companies such as Sutton, Fothergill, etc. While the other companies' seeds and grew six feet tall and are flowering profusely, the Verve seeds have nearly produced a cluster of leaves a couple of inches high. When l emailed a complaint (adding that a relative bought Verve red lettuce seeds that turned out to be green) l received a very dismissive response. I pointed out that all other seed companies offer 'satisfaction guaranteed or your money back' l received another dismissive reply. Rotten seeds and even worse customer service!

Instore service fantastic in Coventry the fitter did a good job but had a survey done and not advised correctly-at point of survey Is that not what the survey for due to one issues not done correctly have had to spend a further 390£ never once asked for the money back but asked for the mistake to rectified - there are a catalogue of issues… been in contact with one manager who offered 50£ - it’s not about the money they need to rectify the issue WILL BE GOING TO OMBUDSMAN I think… COVENTRY ALVIS BUSINESS PARK shame on you only worried about liability

After buying a Ryobi impact driver from B&Q earlier in the year, I made a 19 mile round trip to the Dearne Valley mega store to buy some replacement screwdriver bits. I was gobsmacked to discover they don't stock ANY Ryobi parts at all. Surely if you sell the tools you should also supply replacement parts support.

In store service was amazing. The surveyor/fitting manager is not good. This is not the cheapest fitting service and definitely not worth the 2 month wait time. Items missed off the survey through simply not checking properly and the bills add up. Also tried to add the waste from another job to mine that was on my drive without even asking. Got very angry when I refused to allow this. One fitter (who is really good) to fit most of the works alone and worked extremely hard and long hours. To be honest I just wished we had gone elsewhere!

Buyers of kitchens beware. They are happy to take your money but can’t deliver full order. Missing products have been put back 4 times now… this time I’m told August 11th. Can’t build the rest of the kitchen without worktops. Been lied to several times now. B&Q don’t care.

Large bales of compost usually cost £8:95. Since this lockdown started they are only selling smaller bales for £5.95. Which works out at almost half as much again of the big bales. Rip off merchants. Lets see if bandq allow me to repost this negative review.

B&Q was the most unpleasant, disappointing and terrible experience ever when shopping online. Firstly, the store processed an order, made me pay for it and only after they messaged me saying that the items were out of stock. Secondly, once I tried to pay with my debit card and the website couldn’t process it, I finished paying via Paypal. My surprise was that they charged me twice. The paypal that was the confirmed one, they processed a refund but the other one, I had to contact my bank, get details and pass them the info to have this cancelled. Basically, I paid twice for an order with items that were out of stock and have to wait for a week to have my money back only because the store is the most disorganised and unprofessional I saw in my life. Never, never more.

Really Bad customer service. Tried to add to my delivery address my company name because there is a few companies in the same postcode, and they don't let me do it.

Paid for a kitchen and installation but B&Q didn’t bother to book a fitter. They only told me they couldn’t fit it after delivering the units in late April. They gave me 90 minutes to either cancel or find my own fitter, or accept a new installation dat in November. I’ve been battling with their incompetent escalated complaint a team ever since...latest joke is that they sent a cheque for part payment of the refund and it bounced.

I ordered a planter for my daughters birthday to collect it the next day .within 30 ,minutes I had a phoncall to say it was not in stock. I was clearly disappointed as I just paid £50 . I said preferably I would like my refund immediately and the response i got was a correction on how I pronounced the word preferably . And then a thankyou for my attitude . I was upset about being told the item was out of stock but I certainly did not have an attitude and now I'm left wondering whether or not I will get my refund. There was no apology at all for the inconvenience of this and I don't see why I have to wait 7 days for a refund . I will not be shopping in b and q again.
